What the hells going on out there! Sheep fans want us to stick our heads between our legs and kiss our AZ goodbye? LA hasn’t been able to keep a team there - their fans evaporate like trendy laker fans - hide their faces till its fashionable again - Card fans are forged from flames of adversity - and we bow to no one -

How to beat a sheep is pretty simple - take your boots off and point them toward the salt river - (sheeps hate water) stand behind the sheep - and they just keep backing up!

I don’t know yet how the 2018 Cards will be or if they will come together - I know we have a great core of players - Jones, pp, BB, Fitz, DJ and Sam -

I like the sheeps chances - cause they lost forever and accumulated decades of high draft picks - but make no mistake - we will meet all comers in battle none the less - slight chance of success - impossible odds ! What are we waiting for!

I liked your post because of your fandom. Just wanted to note that THIS Rams fan has been a fan since 1970. I was a fan when they moved in the 90's to the Lou. I had the best time ever during GSOT, and I have endured 14 years of futility, bro. It got so bad I'd watch games just for dline play in the regular season, win or lose (normally lose). Yeah, it bothers me when fans who quit the team in 1994 jump on the Rams bandwagon now, as though they never left (like me).

LA will keep a team now, because the Rams quit begging LA for city financed stadium. Stanley Enos Kroenke is the multi billionaire owner now, and he is erecting a palace within sight of downtown. There is no question of their moving again in our lifetime.

@LoyalRam covered this pretty well, although I will add that yes, Goff was not ready yet. He was 21, and still is young, (23) but the notion that he is solely a "system" quarterback, and a product of McVay's orchestration, certainly sells him short.

Our board is awesome, but I used to live in Az. and rooted for you guys to win, once we were out, when Kurt was there. Mojo lives there now, and Loyal Ram just loves you guys so much. :hacker:

Just don't tell though that you guys are at the same insecure level as Seahawk fans who post a thread every week of a contest showing what the opposing fans think of them lol

So answering a comment, is "posting a thread?"

It's pretty ballsy to put this out there when you're pushing David Johnson as the alternative.

How so? Because of his injury? DJ was never, EVER mentioned as a potential bust. He has always been productive and consistent. Healthy and used correctly, I think DJ the best back in the league. Bell is 1B.

Besides, I said DJ AND/OR Bell. Objectively, Gurley is behind both of them all things considered.

I don't know that there are many people out there (outside of LA or fantasy owners) that have Gurley as the best back in the league.

It's definitely possible...but me being local, following the reports and watching most of the (Cards)games every year...i think i've got a pretty good pulse on this team from an out of the box perspective. My point being that i'm not some random rival fan commenting based on what he sees on ESPN once a week or in a blog.

Yeah, I know you live here & watch Cards games. This offense is going to be a lot different under Wilks. I of course am viewing this with rose colored glasses.

So except for the 15 games he's missed for injury, he's been healthy and consistent?

Le'Veon Bell is the best 2-way back in the league, and it's not close. I don't really care about the tinkling match going on about Gurley (who is a better runner and slightly worse receiver) and DJ. But to say that DJ is more consistent than Gurley when he hasn't played a full game in the last 18 weeks is pretty dumb.

You guys need to lighten up on the Rams’ fans here. I visit their website frequently. They’re good people.

Would it have helped if I substituted productivity instead of consistency? I thought I was pretty clear when I was talking about their on the field production, which is it is why I mentioned DJ's health specifically.

when fully healthy,..all facets considered... I would take David Johnson over any RB in the NFL...any of them.

that being said,...I have Todd Gurley in my keeper league...and I wouldnt trade him for any RB in the NFL...none of'em.

the biggest advantage Gurley has right now is that he has more years in his pro future than DJ does.

So you're saying use a razor blade instead of a hammer... check :)
How the hell did this thread turn into a Rams thread?

Stuck the left horn in - took the left horn out - stuck the left horn in and he shook it all about - did the hokey pokey and then turned himself about- that’s what it’s all about!

Back to the genius predicting the Cards being the 4th worse team in the nfl - I think were the best team in the nfc West - because McCoy won’t throw the ball like his hair is on fire and give our defense, special teams and drunken general manager a fair chance. Keim s kind of scary sober can you imagine what he could do on a drunken rampage? Might roll up a $5 million dollar bill and snort LA.

I meant on your own forum which then leads you to go to the other team's forum with your panties in a bunch... duh
Ok then, "duh", provide proof at ROD that any such thread has been recently posted...I'll even give you the address ramsondemand.com...happy hunting.

As I said, are you guys as insecure to devote a thread to what other teams' fans are saying about you after a contest. You need to read the whole context of a message and why it prompted me to ask why a fan then would search out another forum under your objectives which may have been condition by behavior in the regular season. My point was the demeanor of some of your fan base and could care less whether it was recent or not. BTW, seems you are here to talk smack and police Cardinal fans, I hope our mods' patience is wearing thin so we do not have to endure certain elements of a fan base who are here in troll mode the whole season because you are here and there is not even a game yet and I myself am walking a thin line discussing something which is not reserved for this forum and it will therefore be my last response to your antics... because I have been a forty year Cardinal fan and getting ban before even the regular season starts would suck worse than Ryan Lindley at quarterback

My hunch is proven, thanks for providing a link to your forum, which seems this is a regular point of emphasis for some of you

You even had a part 2 of insecurity once with the Niners... so, I sincerely hope for your sake that Goff was not a product of a one year scheme wonder and the paranoia which would then ensue :)

So you are talking about the regular season before games. Ok, yeah we do that and it's fun. You provided no context in the previous posts and I therefore did not know what the h double hockey sticks you were talking about (must be unconscious insecurity on my part?)...and no, I'm not trolling you, which you would definitely know if I was...Self defense is alllowed on this board, I assume?

This the least excited I've been for a Cards season in a long time. Only 2 years ago, I thought they were the best team in the league but were undone by Amos Jones and special team blunders.

One thing I think being overlooked is all the knowledge, sans Amos Jones, that was on the Arians staff. There were a lot of coaches that had been around and have seen just about everything. Who knows what we're getting with new staff. I think they'll be hard pressed to be as good as the last staff, especially when Bowles was DC.

It is hard to disagree with this. After DJ went down, I was pretty bleek for the rest of the season and yet they turned the Same O Cards into an 8-8 team. They looked like the worst team in the league for 6 weeks despite their record. It was arguably as big of an accomplishment as the NFC Championship.

I like the fact that we are under the radar nationally. We might be the Falcons of 2016. Or, we might be the Giants of 2017.

Whatever happens, I'm excited about this season. More so than I was last year.

Oddsmakers not “experts”

Getting back on topic, oddsmakers think that Arians and Carson are worth 2.5 wins combined... with them giving the Cards win total at 5.5 games next year and we won 8 last year. Pretty crazy how much of the same players are still here and it went down that much, especially since we are getting DJ back.
