we lost to a better team in the steelers, period. we turned the ball over, we were penalized too often.

The game was not officiated very well in my opinion, but sorry, I don't buy in to any conspiracy theory. The NFL and the networks are profitable enough that there's no need for them to fix games.

History is rife with the conspiracies of the already wealthy. HUD Scandals, bid rigging, insider trading... the list is endless and no business in America is immune to it.

Of course the reason that the NFL and the Networks work together so closely is that the NFL needs the writers that work for the networks to do the scripts for the games. :D

Just like three years ago, the Referees are giving the game to the Steelers... The Cards never had a chance.

I assume the NFL has lost you as a fan? yes/no?

The refs may have cost us the "chance" to win the game. They did not cost us the game; the Cards did that to themselves.

Man would I love to see that game played minus the sloppy penalties. I am so disappointed in the outcome of the game but I cannot be disappointed in our players even though they contributed to the downfall they played their freaking hearts out. The look in Larry's eyes as he took that TD into the end zone said it all.

Good job Cards

The ball can touch the ground as long as it doesn't aid in the reception and the receiver maintains control of the ball. Even if there was a question to that reception, which I don't think there was, Tomlin had every opportunity to challenge the play. Now, if Tomlin threw the red flag and the officials came over and told him that the booth already looked at it and he wasn't allowed to challenge it because it was irrefutable in their opinion, then the Steelers might have a gripe.

Now who's whining?

I don't see why it matters to so many Steeler fans what we choose to discuss on our message board. You won, go and enjoy it. If I choose to admire one of my players for what I thought was a whole hearted attempt what difference can it possibly make to you?

The time to challenge the ruling was on the field, if that didn't happen well then it just didn't.

Why is it every time someone has a conspiracy theory, he/she has to be lumped in with the other conspiracy wakos in the world. If you don't believe in conspiracies, you don't know the history of the world. Conspiracies are real, and do exist all the time.

Its because a few of them are having a hard time enjoying it. They needed a miracle finish to beat the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals! The worst team to ever make the Super Bowl.

Their running game was held to a paltry 2.2 yards per carry and they were stuffed at the Cardinal goal line despite getting a do over. The "don't belong there" Cardinals offense rang up over 400 yards on their vaunted defense and turned their rout into a nail biter with a rally from being down 20-7.

The Cards lost the battle and the Lombardi trophy but they won the war gaining much needed respect for the franchise from people all over the country. We'll be enjoying the dividends from this season for years.

Congratulations to the Steelers for #6, it was a hell of a game, and a heartfelt thank you for sending us Ken Whisenhunt.
