Remember how excited we were when he signed?

Remember how useless he looked all year because we had a QB who never heard the term "check down" let alone try to do it?

I predict 60+ catches for Freddie this year now that we have a real NFL quarterback who understands the concept of throwing to a 2nd or 3rd man when the primary receiver is covered.

I don't understand how he is "forgotten"? He caught more passes last year than any Cardinals TE has in a long time. Just because he wasn't catching TD's doesnt make him forgotten

Because he has the ability to catch 70 balls, not 44.

44 balls for about a 7 yard per catch average isn't exactly what I had in mind. I don't know about your expectations though.

I predicted a 700 yard 6 TD season for Jones. Much like his best year in SD.

I must say I was dissappointed that the Cardinals didn't use him more. Even though he had more yards than any TE we've had the last decade.

You guys make it sound like he is missing, wasn't on the field, had a lonely seat at the end of the bench. We was out there playing hard, Jake just never got the ball to him.

That's exactly what we are saying. We were dissappointed that Jake never found Freddie.

This is exactly the point. I too expect big things from Jones. Blake has always been a "spread it out" kind of a guy.

New QB. New OC. New running attack. Time will tell whether or not FJ remains "forgotten." I'm betting he won't be anymore.

I really hope that Jones becomes a big part of the offense because at this point right now he is their most potent receiving threat.

I really didn't understand why they didn't use him in the redzone more often. Maybe tunnel vision by Plummer was to blame or maybe it was poor play calling--probably a little of both.

That, and Marcel and JMack (Even though I like him I have to call a spade a spade) kept putting the ball on the ground on first down and goal at the three.
