Maybe #24 + #29 and boris to milwaukee for #6 and brian skinner.

Take the team option (since I think we can still take the option as part of his contract right?) on skinner to save payroll and draft someone good with #6.

If milwaukee wants skinner back they can probably resign him, all they really give up is the #6 pick and it seems bucks fans are willing.

Works for both teams, young talent with the pick and massive cap relief (9 for boris + 5.8 for skinner = 14.8 million saved) for the suns.

Milwaukee gets some picks to take a stab at and boris who with a slug like bogut instead of amare should be able to shine again.

Waaaah! We're the worst team in the NBA! Waaaaah!

Being the second or third best team in the league isn't good enough anymore. We're sick of always being bridesmaids. I personally get no satisfaction seeing the Suns eliminated by the eventual champions in 8 of the last 15 years or whatever it's been.

I want to win a championship as much as everyone else, but complaining about getting the draft pick isn't going to get us there any faster.

If you want to set your entire life to the drop of a ping-pong ball, be my guest. But there's more to it than that.

Spurs = most likely champs, will find a way to get better next year, much MUCH better salary situation then us

Dallas = billionaire owner with a lot of options

Suns =

Suns =

Suns..... =

Wait what do we have again?
Umm, a team that outplayed San Antonio for most of the recent series and is going to be one of the top 2/3 next year. You might
say that being a top 2/3 isn't good enough blah blah blah, but if your one of the best headed into the playoffs then anything can happen. I'm sorry but the way people are going on makes me sick, if you want to support a losing team then why not go an be a Bobcats or Grizzles fan. The Suns will win 55+ games next year without even trying. Sure we have to tweak a few things, but not getting this pick doest't exactly make us a lottery team. The two draft picks this year are still very valuable, we need a deeper bench thats for sure.

i would definetely prefer to stick with our latter picks. There will be plenty of good talent in the twenties as well and even early in the secons round ! If we take let's say Byars and Splitter i'll be very very happy with the draft !

Something more to life or the ping-pong ball? :)

Seriously I'm with you. Now if the Suns played year-in and year-out like the Arizona Cardinals that would be bad. I can live with the ping-pong but I don't think I can ever respect Commisioner Stern again.

Maybe this is the year for the Cardinals... please I want hope.

Neither is just holding on and believing that things will magically work themselves out. I thought this board was to discuss the Suns. Right now the Suns' situation isn't as good as some of us had hoped.

Actually, I have a lot of things going on in my life that don't have to do with this message board, but ... um ... I don't discuss them on this message board.

I do believe that the Suns' immediate championship hopes were resting on that proverbial drop of a ping-pong ball. There's no doubt in my mind.

Hey, you know what'd be awesome? If we had really good luck next year and the other teams had really bad luck. I'm not saying that's a championship strategy, I'm just saying it'd be nice.

All things considered, we had pretty good luck this year. We made it to the playoffs completely healthy. We just weren't good enough.

Here is my analogy:

The Suns are the NBA's Atlanta Braves. Every year the Suns are in it, but eventually lose to a championship team in the playoffs.

I think everyone was hoping to add that one player who would put the Suns over the top in this draft, and now it seems like it won't happen.
