Ray never recovered from the Kim fight and that's understandable. Fight rules changed as well. Ray did nothing wrong though. That fight should have been stopped by Kim's corner 3 rounds before.

Looks interesting. Ray was a tough TV fighter never really elite but fight fans love him because he always have you everything he had and his all action style made him fun to watch. He belongs in the class of guys like Micky ward, Arturo gatti, Danny Lopez all them guys.

This fight is pretty much the reason fights are 12 rounds note and not 15. The referee and the corner should of been looking out for this kid

I can remember watching this fight on TV. It was back in the day of "Wide World of Sports" it was on a Saturday and when you could watch good fights for free. It was incredibly action packed and this unknown Korean stood toe-to-toe with Boom Boom and it was very courageous. He just didn't take it, he tagged Mancini with a lot of great punches too. It was an epic fight that became a real tragedy.
