I never said I was but I'm not the kind of guy who needs to brag. I know I can handle myself. I also don't go around calling people douche from behind a keyboard either or call anyone any other disparaging names. The worst I might call someone is genius. Is the NYT any more real than, say, an actual sports publication like The Sporting News(God rest it) or SI? I'd take more credence with one of those calling us the best team in football than the NYT. As good as the NYT is, it isn't known for it's sports reporting. Now, the Boston Globe or Philadelphia Inquirer or even the LA Times has a far better sports section than the NYT. Also, the Jayson Blair case really soured me on the NYT. As for actually reading it, I used to read the Sunday Times even though you needed a forklift to carry it and I still do the crossword puzzles, the best in the world IMO.[/QUOTE

I should have said I take notice of an article originating from NYT as this is rare occurrence. Rarity is the focus not real as I had used.

Pretty sure it was knocked off over 24 hours ago, even jokingly. I am just happy an East Coast publication took notice and dedicated resources and research to an article on this team. East Coast bias is real in sports, I feel, and it takes a special "West Coast" team to get that kind of print.
