kinda watched haunted mansion for the first time on easter, was entertaining for the most part. REALLY long commercial breaks killed it for me.

Is everything
After tallying all the votes, here are ASFN's Top 5 Disney animated movies of all time (votes in parenthesis). If you voted for more than 5 movies, I only counted your first 5 for this result. There is a tie for 1st place and a logjam for 4th/5th.

1. Lion King (8)
1. Toy Story (8)
3. Frozen (5)
4. Finding Nemo (3)
4. Alladin (3)
4. Toy Stoy 3 (3)
4. Jungle Book (3)
4. The Little Mermaid (3)
4. 101 Dalmations (3)
4. Up (3)
4. Peter Pan (3)

I find it really sad that Pinocchio isn't considered better than 101 Dalmations, The Jungle Book and Aladdin here.

Consider age groups. I enjoyed pinnochio but aladdin came out while I was growing up, it holds much more nostalgic value to me. I enjoyed Jungle book more than pinnochio too. I barely even remember pinnochio.

Wow it's really hard to pick out just 5. There are so may good ones. Especially the Pixar ones. These are my all time favorites by year:

1989 The Little Mermaid
1991 Beauty and the Beast
1993 The Nightmare Before Christmas
1995 Toy Story
1998 A Bug's Life
2001 Monsters, Inc.
2003 Finding Nemo
2007 Ratatouille
2008 WALL-E
2009 Up
2010 Toy Story 3
2010 Tangled
2012 Wreck-It Ralph
2013 Frozen

Trying to narrow it down to 5 gets really really difficult and is really a matter of taste:

1. Finding Nemo
2. WALL-E
3. Toy Story
4. The Nightmare Before Christmas
5. Frozen

Aladdin was a great Disney film. I find it more disturbing that Up has 3 votes.

1 - Robin Hood
2 - Dumbo
3 - Alice in Wonderland
4 - Jungle Book
5 - Lady and the Tramp

I personally liked:
- The Black Cauldron
- The Sword in the Stone

When it comes to new age animation, Dreamworks is far superior, IMHO.

I am disturbed by your lack of faith in Up

It is bad. BAD. Characters are boring, plot is stupid. It might be one of the worst Disney/Pixar ever made.

A number of us disagree - lovely, heart-warming, touching story :mulli:

I think a little differently about all of you that voted for it. Call it UP discrimination.

I don't. Taste is personal and ever-changing and memories fade. I'd bet that most of us would have a slightly different list each month if we were asked to list our top 5 every 30 days. For me, I'd wager that if I did it on the first of each month for a full year (without looking at my previous lists) that I'd go through probably 20 or more movies by the time the year was up.

Come on. 101 Dalmations and Jungle Book. Really?

I'm surprised you don't have more fondness for Pinocchio--of course, you were probably 40 when it came out, so maybe that explains it... ;)

Yeah I was probably 40 when Pinocchio came out although we had our suspicions long before his announcement.

I saw Jungle Book (as a 13 year old) when it was first released to the theater and enjoyed it quite a bit but Pinocchio belonged to the previous generation and I didn't actually see it for the first time until I was in my twenties. That probably has a lot to do with why I'd put Jungle Book far above Pinocchio.
