Hopefully not like the first one. Most overrated movie of all time.
It was super funny, though I can see how the hype could have ruined it for some people.

Yep.He is definitely an ass. But his movies and his roles as a whole freaking rock. Thats all I care about really.

Same here. I had no interest at all, and ended up watching it 4 times on an airplane.I didn't want to like it, for that reason. I got tired of hearing about it, but it won me over big time. Now it's one of my favorite comedies.

Have you seen Hot Tub Time machine?
Actually, no. I just put it in my Netflix queue the other day.
Liam Neeson to replace Gibson.

Pretty lame. The whole idea was to find another Tyson. People have been speculating on who would fill that sort of role in a sequel for some time. Tiger Woods' name was thrown out there quite a bit...Gibson was a good fit...a celebrity with a poor public image.
screw that. Kudos to Phillips for actually listening to his crew and actors who wanted no piece of that human garbage, holocaust-denying, wife-beating racist.
I'm with you on him as a person. He's a real POS.

I don't think Liam Neeson could be funny if his life depended on it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't remember him ever being in anything funny.

It's now a foregone conclusion that The Hangover: Part 2 will blow. And not just because it's a sequel. No, it will crash and burn because karma trumps dogma, and you can't stunt-cast your first movie with a convicted rapist/ear-biter and then decide on moral grounds that you're going to bail on a stone-cold-crazy movie star.
How anything in the universe of The Hangover has even a tangential connection to proper conduct is a little beyond me. Isn't twisted perversity the point of the whole thing? But somehow Mike Tyson is OK, but Mel Gibson is not, so Liam Neeson replaces Gibson and Bill Clinton has reportedly shot a cameo as well. I'm willing to give Neeson the benefit of the doubt, but Clinton's presence is a clear signal that the movie has gone completely mainstream. What? Regis Philbin wasn't available?
This is proof that one's political beliefs trump their talent. Sean Penn goes and stands next to a sociopath like Saddam Hussein and no one bats an eye. Mel Gibson makes a religious movie and he goes from Hollywood sex symbol to certifiable lunatic. We all know that Hollywood is full of dirtbags but only in this country do we let political leanings cloud our judgement of someone's work. Is Mel Gibson a nut? Probably. But wasn't there an entire TV show dedicated to Gary Busey's lunacy? Not to mention that someone like Lady Gaga has an actual career who uses crazy stunts to mask her hackery as an entertainer but everyone loves her. To put it simply, I on't agree with Penn's politics but I find him to be an incredible actor and I still watch his movies. Hell, if I let politics get in the way of my being entertained, I'd never be able to watch another movie again. Can't say the same for those who don't share my political beliefs.Yep.
Mel's on-screen personas trump his off-screen asshattery. I don't have to deal with him as a person, but I like dealing with him as an entertainer.
How is it that my post proves that? I'm saying I like watching Mel Gibson as an actor, yet disagree with him as a person. This is proof that one's political beliefs trump their talent.
