The beauty of Leinart is he's one of the guys that would best be able to deal with this stuff. His personality is such that it won't take long for teammates to forget about his holdout.

Let's just say he's the "anti- Pacman".

I read a story about a guy who was doing an interview with Matt and he'd been flying around and racing between interviews and was starving. When he interviewed Matt, Leinart asked him are you hungry have you had lunch? The guy said no, so Matt took him out to lunch, did the interview. The guy said he'd been in the business for years and Leinart was the THIRD person who'd ever treated him to lunch like that, the other 2 were like Barbara Walters and mother teresa(just kidding). The guy said he went into the interview thinking he was getting a primadonna, the male Paris Hilton, and walked out thinking what a great young man.

Amen, Russ. I know you have mentioned it about 100x on this board, but I dont get why people (Cards fans and asfn posters included) swear he is "Matty Hollywood" and the like. I would go as far as saying Tom Brady is a bigger primadona than ML and Brady isnt really one at all.

The Leinart-haters are flat out pathetic, it's so transparent that the only reason people hate him is because either his team kicked their team's ass at some point over the last three years or because of jealously over the fact that he's one of the best at what he does while managing to find the time to score hotter tail than most of us can imagine. Look past where he went to college as mosy of the level-headed people including myself have and be eternally grateful he fell to us.
