Since I'm wrong so much these days on guys I'm going to take my victory lap here as Sanders is reportedly falling like the NASDAQ. I said it and will repeat it, he's not good enough to be as much of a jerk as he is. He is reportedly absolutely bombing the personal interviews.

I don't know if people made the connection but when the Raiders traded for Geno Smith that was a HUGE red flag on Shedeur Sanders, he was already falling and there were all these reports the Raiders wanted him and then they traded for Smith. Maybe they still take him who knows but my take is they traded for Geno because they decided they did NOT want Sanders.

Unfortunately, it starts at the top. His dad/coach is an idiot, what do you expect. Prime will be the NFL version of Lavar Ball and ruin his kids progress. They’ve been coddled their whole football lives.

That's the thing Deion was a huge primadonna but he was such a great player you dealt with it. Shedeur just isn't good enough for people to deal with his personality.

Especially at QB if you have that issue it's going to come out in the interviews.

When your "influencer" trainer is doing interviews denying you're arrogant, you're probably arrogant

I mean a lot of us have been saying the same thing Russ, Deions son (because that's his name lol) just isn't that great, pretty good? ok, good? Yeah ok. if his last name was Smith or Jones no one would be talking about him until maybe the 2nd or 3rd

Kyler reportedly was bombing interviews and still went #1.

All it takes is one team.
The Titans are hinting they're out on him. Giants are gunning for Ward, but might panic take Sanders. Who knows what the Browns will do, maybe they can get a free Kirk Cousins? Deion has said they will pull an Eli if certain teams, I'm guessing the Browns or Jets, try to draft Shadeur.

If he makes it past those 3 I think he makes it to the Steelers and Tomlin. Tomlin is not afraid of letting guys like Sanders in the building.

Count me among the few that like Sanders over Ward. I actually believe that Shedeur will be a pretty good player. Don't know why, but I see more potential in him than in Ward.

I predict he goes at pick #30-32 with a team that trades back up. I dont see a team spending a top 5 pick on him.

I'll never understand cheering against a kid. Taking a victory lap at the beginning of this process is also a risky move.

Not cheering against him I'm saying he's not good enough to be worth the hassle of dealing with him.

As for why I bring it up here, during the season his name came up over and over as a guy we should look at replacing Kyler with. I'm certainly not always right but the last time we had a huge debate it was some guy named DeShaun Watson and tons of people here were saying if the Cards could get him they should because he was so much better than Kyler, I said I don't trust him. I got that one right.

My prediction this time was Sanders wouldn't get drafted as high as people expected because he's not a particularly likable kid, you draft a QB in the first round you're making a big commitment.

I also don't think he has an NFL arm.

But also cost lonzo millions with the shoe deal.

Oh yeah the dad screwed Lonzo on the original shoe deal and there are lots of people who think some of the injury issues Lonzo had were probably related to wearing those shoes although I don't think anybody ever proved it.

You cheer loudly and proudly against players/kids in this forum all the time?
Who? I describe people as being bad, but that’s usually when they are/are on the trajectory to be bad. I also (almost) never take a victory lap when I turn out to be right.

Saying you’re right about this kid not being drafted in the top five or ten or whatever a month before the draft is certainty Something To Do.

I’m a Cardinals fan; I cheer for their players. I’m generally critical of the front office because they suck. Not Beej’s fault where he was drafted. I’m not cheering against him; I hope he turns out to be great.

QBs are commonly over drafted. There are a lot of teams that need a QB and not many available. However, I believe he is a head case. His dad only makes it worse.

As usual, some HC or OC will go "I can fix him" and drop a 1st rounder on him.
