Being so cocky and wearing his hat backwards and sideways shows lack of discipline in that interview

Add that his dad will be a problem with trying to get into the locker room and influence the coach

Toxic all the way around

This could end up being a good thing for him if he is humbled and changes his attitude

He probably couldn't have handled his approach to the draft worse.

Now it's to the point where it seems a little unfair. You almost feel a little bad for the kid. It's a tough lesson to learn.

Bottom line is that talent and hard work win out in life. If he's a legitimate NFL talent, and will put in the work, he'll succeed in the NFL. It will just take a longer than it could have.

The gap between Shedeur and Cam Ward was smaller than the gap between Shedeur and Jaxson Dart. He must’ve carried himself horribly during the pre-draft process. Nobody drafts a guy they expect to be their QBOTF on day 3 so idk where it goes from here.

The best explanation I've seen so far is the anonymous comment that there's a big difference between speaking your mind in an interview session and questioning everything they tell you in an interview session.

This is it for sure.

You will have Deon sniping at the coach from afar if things aren’t going well.

Jackson Dart ain’t anywhere as good as Sanders.

In the end it will all work out and some of these coaches won’t be around anyway.

Can agree Deion will be a pain in the neck for whoever gets him I don't believe NFL teams are avoiding him because they think Deion will end up being their coach. I just don't see Deion's resume as saying NFL coach any day now

I will say this of all the guys "dropping" in the draft he's not even remotely the worst. I keep seeing Bru McCoy listed as a potential steal. Former Tenn WR started out at USC. That kid looked like a star but then we found out about him beating up his ex girlfriend, breaking her nose with a headbutt etc. I hope that kid goes undrafted. They didn't end up pressing charges but even USC ran the kid off because they knew he was bad news.

At this point I hope someone takes Shedeur

What the Media should be asking is, "How were we so wrong". Mel Kiper who has been so good for so long and can take a lot of credit for making the Draft the event that it is, today, had Shedeur as the #1 QB and most of the others had him near the top of the best players in the Draft. And, instead of admitting how they are just repeating what coaches and agents tell them, they say that he did a poor pre draft job of promoting himself. At least, that is how I see it.

The guys at B-R have hinted that possibly now (after not being drafted first 3 rounds) that maybe he is letting teams know to not draft him now. It’s not about the money now, but about playing where he wants to go to play after the draft is over. Money not the issue. Just a thought I found intriguing.

My bet is he's pouting like a child and doesn't want to play anymore, since his ball got taken away

Probably not going in the 4th at this point. The teams that still need a QB have already picked. Maybe someone takes a late round gamble to see if this gives him a legit chip on his shoulder. Otherwise, if he is a headache at that point they can just comfortably cut him.

You must be registered for see images attach

It must be pretty bad when Pittsburgh has this on its roster and is passing on him.

Kiper is ranking who he thinks the best players are, not the order in which he thinks they will be drafted. IMO there's no way Shedeur should still be available in Round 4 purely based on his talent, so if he can address whatever off the field issues have caused 32 teams to collectively stay away so far I think Kiper and others could easily be ultimately proven right in their assessment.

Sanders going to go undrafted unless Steelers take him. Everyone else has their starter and no one is drafting him as a backup.

I think this. There were only so many teams that legit needed a QB. Between his interviews and his Dad's (potential) interference, those few teams chose differently. Maybe kids with less talent that were more coachable. Now he's fallen into backup QB territory and the only thing I can imagine being worse than having him as a starting QB is a backup QB. Will be interesting to see how this pans out for sure

We need to pick him up if he is available. Show case him in training camp and preseason.. then turn around and flip him.
Its just a 5th rounder.. lets roll the dice..
