The media seemed to think that the Utah Jazz would be good defensively against the Spurs. Boy were they wrong! They are terrible.

#1. This illustrates how good the Suns were playing, against a very hot Spurs team. Our defense was playing very well.

#2. This also illustrates how I like to number things. :wave:

#3. This illustrates how David Stern should rot in hell. :moon:

#4. Finally, that if we'd had Amare for game 5 We would have won that game. :sad:

Those are my thoughts watching the Jazz terrible defense.

#9 Why can't the refs call more than 2 fouls a game against someone that fouls at least two times on every possesion.....BOWEN!

#8 A rule that is beat into the player's heads from the start of the season until closed. A rule knowingly violated by the two players. One of which lied to the press and NBA about what he was doing.

:violin::deadhorse2:

#69. Duncan breaks the same rule in the 2nd quarter, no technical, no suspension.

Jalen Rose and Jumaine Jones were solid players for other teams but never got a chance here. I was very disappointed Rose didn't get playing time in Game 5 and even more upset that we lost the best chance since ever to win the championship.

Their defense has been pathetic, at best. Tney are getting beat by basketball 101. Simple backdoors, pic and rolls, passing to the open man, etc.. has made them look like fools. Spurs are giving a clinic.

Suns defense was much better and they had a legitimate defender for Duncan. His only limitation is he doesnt seem to play well given more than 25 minutes.

I think we will find that the Suns/Spurs series was the real NBA finals. The Spurs are just playing amazing ball and are going to steam roll through their last two opponents.

Last night I was watching the game and I saw Duncan make a couple fantastic passes and it just made Dirk's MVP even look more shameful. Does San Antonio win 30 games without Duncan? I doubt it.

The Spurs are playing a different style vs Utah - more like the Suns play (ie, fast and hot 3-pt shooting).

From a fans point of view, I felt that the Suns-Spurs series was much more exciting and stressful to watch. Jazz have a good team but their inexperience and the Spurs ability run a precision offense is killing the Jazz.

Maybe the NBA should consider reseeding the teams after each series to insure maximum competitiveness in the Conference Finals. Cause thus far for me, its been pretty lame. Im not even on the edge for each game cause I fully expect the Spurs to win each game. Even when the Jazz were able to cut the lead down to seven, I wasnt worried. Now when the Suns did in game 6, I was laying (you fill in the correct term) bricks.

Reseeding would most certainly make the playoffs more interesting. This lackluster WCF is a pity. If the Jazz weren't 6-0 at home this playoffs, I'd say Spurs would sweep. Spurs in 5.

See, I knew we'd get the Spurs fans on our side eventually. Stern thinks reseeding is stupid. Stern thinks reseeding is for wussies. Stern said the NBA eliminated the 5-game first-round series to placate those who felt it downplayed the 82-game regular season. Stern said he would not favor reseeding because, let's face it, Stern has been commish for too long he's contrarian like Grampa Simpson.
