Which of these players do you really want to see on the Suns long-term?

Which of the current Suns players do you actually wish the Suns hang onto long-term? Who do you want to still see in a Suns uniform 3-5 years down the road? If you don't care that much if a particular player is kept or not, then don't choose him.

Pick as many, or as few, as you like. If you choose "none", then obviously don't pick any players.

Len's the only 100% keeper for me.

Bledsoe, Knight, Warren and Len. Maybe Goodwin, too early for me to tell. Although by the way you worded your post, I could probably just as easily say none of them. But I think the ones I named are worth building around.

I picked both Knight & Bledsoe not because I want both of them but because I want one of them but I don't know which one I want yet.

Len, Warren, and to a lesser degree, Goodwin. If he weren't an alcoholic, I'd add PJ to the list for some veteran leadership and toughness, but I don't think he is fit for that job anymore. I also want to see more of Knight without Bledsoe before I decide I don't want him on the team. Morris twins, Green, and Bledsoe need to go bye-bye as soon as possible.

Len and Warren. I'm ambivalent on Goodwin, but guys who are freak athletes and haven't learned how to play are easier to find than one might think, so he's replaceable. I don't see how Bledsoe, Knight, or either Morris could ever be top-five at their position, which is what the Suns will need sooner or later.

I was more generous. Len, Warren, Knight, Wright, and (since I have not given up on him yet) Bledsoe.

Hm, the results are interesting. Out of at least 11 people, not a single one wants Markieff or Green, and only one wants Marcus (on a side note, why?) and only 4 want Bledsoe.

I do wonder if him missing the team bus before games has something to do with his drinking problem.

It is quite remarkable regarding Markieff. Most around the league would consider him a great success, but his constant whining, off the court stuff, T's, and ripping on the fans have alienated him from even the most ardent of his home team fans.

Wow. Textbook on how to destroy your brand.

With Markieff, my biggest problems are inconsistency and attitude. And the fact that he takes up two roster spots. With Bledsoe, I have not given up by no means, but right now I am still unconvinced that he can be a perennial all-star level player, which is what the Suns need him to be. With Knight, it is too early too tell, but his game can be at times eerily similar to Bledsoe's.

The truth is there is no one on this team I would consider as "untradeable", the sort of player you would not give up for anything short of a proven superstar. Len is the closet thing the Suns have to an untradeable player, simply because of the position he plays and his potential.

Yea, if I were forced to keep a Morris twin, I'd choose Kieff every time. He's the better and more consistent one.

I voted for keef - great value at $8m - but Len, Goodwin and Warren also; check out the draft bias right there.

I don't think the Suns have any players that can't be traded for the right player. However, Len, Bledsoe and Knight appear close to untouchable. So I cleaned up the Suns roster with the removal of Barron, Green, Thornton and Salmons. Bullock has a guaranteed salary for next season and Granger has a player option. These players may be included in a trade.

I didn't check Bledsoe or Knight because I think the team absolutely needs to have a true PG and both of those two covet that role, while not really able to handle it - so they are impediments. I checked Markieff but not Marcus which may not be feasible - by himself Markieff would make a very good backup and priced about right. Wright is a good utility big who seems content in that role - and I prize offensive efficiency.

I wish you'd have included Hornacek and McD on the list... I wouldn't have checked Hornacek but I probably would have wanted to keep McD.

At this point, Bledsoe is only #4 in the eyes of ASFN posters who have participated.

That's more than just one poster's opinion (I did not vote for him).

That says something!

Yeah, I didn't think he'd make the top 5.

thanks for saving me the time. This sums it up pretty nicely. I wouldn't mind keeping Brandon Wright at the right price and I would actually like Markieff , but only as the first big off the bench. His attitude doesn't bother me nearly as much as his rebounding and team defense deficiencies do.

From what I've seen so far I certainly don't want Brandon Knight on a Bledsoe like contract. At this point in time I would trade both of them to get that Lakers pick back if I could.

An alternate poll that would be as amusing would be "Which players do you DEFINITELY not want to see on the Suns much longer?".
