Meaning, the hornets are a really good team that offensively do two things that absolutely murder the Lakers. Shoot the three, and screen and roll to perfection. For decades the Lakers have had problems with these two things. Last year the Nooch gave them fits and beat them soundly...they just don't matchup very well with the hornets. Regardless, the Lakers had the lead in the fourth and then went cold for a 5 minute stretch when New Orleans went hot. End of story. And the Hornets are a 4-0 team playing really good ball with one of the top three PGs in the league, vs a Lakers team missing two starters.

To use that as a basis for them not "rising" is silly. The Suns aren't sinking, but the Lakers definitely are rising.

you're going to use that game as to base all expectations for how the Suns will play for the rest of the year?

If that's the case I am terrified of the hornets as well. As we lost to the Lakers by 30 we might lose to the Hornets by 40!!!

They may not even be the best team in Los Angeles......

i'm flat out shocked at what the Clips have done. I didn't think they'd win 3 games in the first month of the season, much less the first week.

It's early, but a roadie win at Chicago ain't too shabby. Mobley looks totally reborn.

No, I'm using the same silly logic to make a point.

The season is really, really, really young.

regardless, it's a road win, something that's a completely alien concept to the Clippers.

Wow, make that 2 road wins to start the season. Last year the Clippers didn't get their 2nd road win until January if I remember correctly.
