The 2025 NFL draft will commence soon, on Thursday, April 24 with the first round. Rounds 2 and 3 will follow on Friday with the remaining four rounds on Saturday the 26th.

The Arizona Cardinals have selections in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh rounds. They don't have a sixth-round pick currently.

Let's look at the last several years of picks and see how those picks have worked out.

Below are the last 10 years of seventh-round picks for the Cardinals.

The last 10 years of Cardinals seventh-round picks

  • 2024: CB Jaden Davis
  • 2023: None
  • 2022: CB Christian Matthew, OLB Jesse Luketa, OL Marquis Hayes
  • 2021: S James Wiggins, C Michal Menet
  • 2020: RB Eno Benjmain
  • 2019: OL Josh Miles, DL Michael Dogbe, TE Caleb Wilson
  • 2018: OL Korey Cunningham
  • 2017: None
  • 2016: None

The best, worst 7th-round picks

Of the last decade, clearly the best pick has been Luketa, who played three seasons and was a great special teams player and also developed into a decent pass rusher last season. However, after finishing the season injured, he was not re-signed.

Benjamin was solid for a few games. Dogbe was a good rotational defensive player for a brief time.

The worst? Menet never did anything. Neither did Wilson.
