The Lying Game: Trufant, Newman or Suggs?

Jurecki now claims that Cards are torn between Trufant, Suggs and Newman. They also like Kennedy a lot.

They love Trufant. What do they do if they can't trade down and it's between 2 of the 3?

He says the buzz out of Felon Town is: Newman or Robertson. Feels the Bears might take Suggs.

Cards also have not been scared off of Newman.

I think this all means the Cards will draft the top K in round one...using the smokescreen theory.

I'd be flabbergasted if we passed on the best pass rusher to take a CB. Maybe if we had signed Holliday or Colvin I could see it. I'd rather us take Leftwich than either CB with Suggs still on the board and I'm against Leftwich as our first pick.

I agree. We need a pass rusher. (or two) I believe that two out of our first three picks will be DT and DE. Quite possibly the first two. Then WR etc....

I can see us taking Trufant.Only because he'd be the worst possible pick for us and Cardinal history shows that's what we'll do.Mcgiinis said on the audio that you can never have enough cover guys.Look back to January 5th,did anyone want Trufant or Robetson?The answer is,no,to both of them.What's changed?The Cards added to their secondary.They re-signed their DTs'.Trufant was a 2nd rounder and now we want him.If we don't take Leftwich or Suggs then the Graves is even a bigger idiot than i think.Now if they are both gone then WR would be my next choice.If the draft went Leftwich,Newman,Rogers,JOhnson, and Suggs then ,maybe ,i would consider Trufant.

Suggs, Trufant, Newman, Kennedy, Leftwhich it all gives the Cardinals a good player and hopefully we will never be in this good of a position to draft again. I DO NOT WANT PALMER, I DO NOT WANT PALMER and finally I DO NOT WANT PALMER!

I'd rather have Robertson or even Kennedy before Trufant....but I won't kick him outta bed for eating crackers.

Newmans shoulder injury scares me......but I still want Suggs.

If I ranked those that I would pick it would go like this:

Suggs
Robertson
Kennedy
Leftwich
Trufant
Newman

I pretty much agree with your wish list. I would flip Kennedy and Trufant but as you stated about crackers and bed I would take any of these players. What I hope for the most is that the Cards can trade down and still get anyone of these players, even if that means missing out on Suggs.

My last mock draft has Trufant #1 and I stand by that. It's really hard <b>not</b> to love the guy.
