The Madden 2005 Thread

Yeah so they just released the new updated rosters on Monday.... I guess there was a delay because Tiburon is based in Florida and them hurricanes and stuff.

Anywho, they have all the right people on IR and stuff and added the new guys the Cards added at the roster deadline, but they deleted Levar Fisher and no Reggie Newhouse.

I just finished season one this weekend.

McCown was the league MVP and pro bowl starter.

My running game sucks. I was 28th in total offense but 6th in passing LOL.


Probably time to take the difficulty up a notch for season two now that I have had some practice.

Are you guys all on Xbox Live?

What're your handles? Mine's PairahX (appearantly, there's some guy running around out there claiming he's Pariah).

I ususally kick the computer's ass, but I've had a very difficult time beating a live person. I won my first last night, bringing my record to an impressive 1-14. I've lost a couple close ones, but I've been blown out badly more often than not.

I'm not on live yet, but I will be.

I'm still pretty sucky "live." I'm about 1-20 now. Maybe I should start playing with another team...

has anyone noticed that in the new roster update they have Boldin healthy, but in the bench? I've been starting Boldin, Fitz and Johnson with no problems. In fact, in an online 58-52 overtime loss last night, Boldin had about 300 yards receiving for me (Josh went over 500 passing).

What do you guys think about Madden 2005? I got it for the PC last week and the stadium graphics have improved dramatically from 2004.

I'm playing it 1600x1200 using a DVI-D cable so the pictures is very clear. It is disappointing that the game doesn't support 1920x1200 widescreen, but EA doesn't seem to really care about widescreen gamers.

I have bought Madden every year since 1998. Funny to think about how the players used to look back then when they all had the same body types. Now the uniform graphics and movements are much better and the stadium is virually realistic. Gameplay is pretty much the same -- I can take the Cardinals and blow out any team in Rookie mode!!

Just Got It Tonight On Pc.its Ok..still Learning Though.i Also Play Simcity 4 Alot.and I Think Next Week Im Going To Finally Get A Dvd Player In My Computer,and Second Bay A Dvd Burner..THE REASON IS BECAUSE I THINK you need a dvd player to play sims2..I never played the sims yet,but i heard its cool
