Well, obviously. My point wasnt stating otherwise. I just dont see why a PG rating would be bad on this. Thats what PG is for IMO. Hey parents, guidance suggested, mildly scary stuff in the movie.

I think if we did some research and look at the PG movies that have been released in the last 5 years, you'd see a very distinct difference between them and The Maze Runner. The PG rating seems to be barely used anymore, and when it is, it is only for animation and very family-friendly movies, like Paddington. Vastly different kinds of movies from The Maze Runner.

they likely made it just light enough to be pg so they could get all the tweens who read the book into the theaters.
