This game was huge and the Suns done showed up.
We learned we can hang and bang with one of the better teams that bring it constantly. We are looking good in my eyes, considering this team has a new formula (what that is I do not know) they are improving by the minute...literally.

Lopez is waking up, while still looking like he is just waking up, he is putting in better numbers, and might turn out to be our Bynum in the playoffs.

Carter deserves our respect now, I loved Jrich too but come on, dude is trying. If we don't trade him you won't here the dawg complain. He is one of the streaky shooters the Suns always live and die on. Plus he is a vet that can help in ....the playoffs.

Gortat showed even when a team plans for him, he still got game. Nice to have attention on him by other teams, it means more open threes. Ceiling has no limit with this guy, nobody has given him the shot he is getting now.

I like other things too but my fingers are getting tired and I have a beer getting warm.

I thought this was the part where others chime in and talk about what they like about the current Suns condition, or dislike. :)

The Suns have come a long way since the first part of the season . . . and have a long way to go.

It looks like the good teams are preparing for Gortat. I think this will show, more than ever, that he needs Frye alongside him, rather than Warrick at 219 lbs. That means -- yes, starting lineup.

Carter is consistent in his inconsistency. Whether he shines or disappears in the first half, he become mediocre in the second half and, especially, at crunch time.

Nash was kept in check, which was probably the biggest factor in our not having that extra oomph to hold the lead.

All in all, a step in the right direction, considering the tough 6 opponents on the court. Ahem.

If we had a legitimate backup Power Forward and a Shooting Guard who gives a $hit, we could have beaten OC.

The time for moral victories is long over for this season. We need actual wins.

I want the Suns to finish the season playing well and find out which players are part of their future. I'm not even thinking about the playoffs. The time for drinking koolaid is past.

I only saw the first half and Ibaka was obliterating Gortat.

Fell asleep then because the game never felt like we could win it.

Taking Carter out of the game for long when he was perfect from the field was just a dumb move.
Gentry is kind of robotic in his subsitution patterns.

Ibaka came out of the blue for me. At age 21 he appears to have a bright future. The Suns need a player like that and he was drafted in the twenties.

In regard to Carter, I just don't think his body can regenerate after expending such a large amount of energy. He seems to stiffen up and not be able to get his game going after he comes out. I think Carter was near out of gas when Gentry took him out after that scoring frenzy. However, Gentry should have realized his legs were tired and pulled him earlier in the second half.

I posted a video of Ibaka when he was in Spain like 2 years before he was drafted and most people on this board were amazed.

Obviously our scouts have done a horrible job to identify talent or to convince our incompetent management to draft these young players.

The Suns really miss former Scouting Director Dick Percudani. If the Suns replaced him, they appear to have missed the mark. I'm not counting on Lance Blanks who reportedly specializes in NBA talent. It's a bigger world out there.

You guys didn't watch the same game I did with the same view I guess.
With out Gortat and Nash and everybody else stepping it up we wouldn't have been in that game so Carter or the REF could blow it.
I like Carter, we just tried to make him Reggie Miller at the end of the game and it didn't work.:)
People act like we are as bad before getting rid of E-doh! and the trade.
Poopy posters.:)
