Keim sounds really interested in him as a project. NFL.com has him projected as a 3rd - 4th rounder. 3rd round sounds high for someone so raw though. Still the Cardinals like their small college gems so it wouldn't shock me if they ended up selecting him at some point.

Pro Day - 9 teams in attendance

6'5" - 298
225: 34 reps (6 better at Combine)
Vert: 31.5 - 32.0 (2 OL's better at Combine)
Broad: 9'1" - 9'6"
40: 5.06 - 4.94 (5 OL's faster at Combine)
3-cone: 7.3 - (no OL's better at Combine)

To me, using your example of RB, I would consider doing same for QBs. Draft one each year in the late rounds in hopes you nab a Brady, Romo, or the like. Keep doing it until you find your good starter and equally good backup who is still learning but will one day take over for an injured or aging starter. Even with 2 good ones I would still be drafting one each year searching for that star in the late rounds. When you do have two equally good starters, then you trade one for good draft picks. Thus you are always breeding your next starting QB or next quality one you use as trade bait. There are always highly regarded projects at QB position in the draft. This year for example, you have several you can get in the very late rounds like Logan Thomas or Tom Savage. These big armed, strong, and athletic QBs are there for the taking each year. If you have a great QB coach, you can have a great system in place to constantly be grooming the next one or two starters for your team or someone else's.
