SHORTY19991
Newbie
I still pretty new to this board, but I would like to get something off my chest. I think all of are aware of the chances the so called "experts" give the Cards this season. (except John Clayton, God love him) To put an abrupt end to those negative voices the Cards need to do one thing this Sunday. Destroy the Lions!
I'm not talking about some 23-20 win in OT. I'm not talking about some high scoring shootout. I'm talking about a completely dominating performance from our team on both sides of the ball. And to do that they need to do a couple of things:
1. Surprise the Lions by AIRING out the ball! I'm not saying to forget the running game, but Blake has said through out the pre season that the throwing game has been pretty vanillla. I want to see why they call Brian Gilmore the fastest receiver. I want to see why they say Jeff blake has the best deep ball in the league. They can only do that by throwing.
2. Hurt Harrington! Now before I get any flak, let me explain. I don't want him to be injured, but I want him to be scared. The only way to do that is to put pressure on him, hit him, and hit him hard. Keep those hits on his mind. Hurt him mentally and he won't perform physically.
These are just two things of many. But I think that if we can do these two things the Lions won't stand a chance. Just my 2 cents.
