I don't think I did a good enough job of conveying just how wild the crowd was. It was an absolute mob of people lined up all the way around the building, and they were so rowdy.

Thanks Ed

Doesn't sound like it turned out the way you intended.....but to paraphrase Jim Rome "it's the biggest crap shoot on the plant".

I especially liked your mention of your dad and the fact that you stuck it out.

Sounds like they need a bigger venue.

I'd love to go to at least one.

They don't get a bigger venue because they want it to be packed. they like the idea of people "beating down the door" to get in, it makes the league look all that much more popular.

So are you and ChiCard visible on the ESPN feed of the draft? I think I taped it(I was in and out that day after we traded out of 6 as I was car shopping) I'll see if I can see a guy hiding his face in his hands.

We should be. Since we were the only people there wearing Cardinals jerseys the camera men knelt on the floor next to us as the pick was announced and caught our, shall we say, bemused looks!

I assume we were on.....his camera was running as the pick was made but I have to be honest, I wasn't watching the ESPN monitors at that exact moment (head in hands!) so I'm not sure.

I watched the entire draft, and unfortunately, I didn't see the two of you when we picked. To be fair, I may have been looking at my computer moniter, situated directly next to the TV screen, or I may have had my head in my hands as well.

I considered recording our selection, but unfortunatly didn't, so I have no way to go back and check.

Whether you actually got on tv matters not in my mind. The fact that you traveled to and visited the holy site that is the NFL draft, puts a huge star next to both of your names in my book. I am indeed very jealous.

Go Cards!!!

Well then maybe we weren't on. Oh well!

The cameraman got a good laugh at least.
