Notebook

Thinking about taking the Mrs. to see this tommorrow night. Anybody seen it? Supposed to be a pretty good sappy love story, good for a few husband points.

Wow. Saw this last night with my wife. It was Fabulous, great movie, great acting. Great movie to take your spouse, fiance or serious mate. A little embarrasing when they turned on the lights quickly at the end and everyone in the theatre was crying.

Just got back from this.

I liked it a lot. It was a definate chick flick. But overall it was done very well and the acting was very good. I actually shed a tear or maybe even two.

I dont know the name of the young woman who played in it. But she certainly is music to the eyes!

I thought Chandler Mike had these movies cornered. :D

My gf is making me take her but I haven't heard anything but good things so I'm not too upset.

!!!!SPOILERS!!!!

I liked it quite a bit. I have you beat on the tears-shed chart, though. This hit kind of close to home cause my grandfather had to watch his wife waste away to Alzheimers and she didn't recognize him by the end of it.

Very heartfelt, great performances, and you're right - the lead actress is quite beautiful. Really has that classic charm to her.

Glad you liked it!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. That is quite sad.

I keep hearing so many good things about this movies... mainly from the chicks. So I've finally rented and am going to watch it right now. I hear it's a tear jerker!

This movie is about James Garner? Maybe I'll see it afterall...The Rockford Files was a really cool show.

Ooh, great flick, but if you go in looking for Rockford Files, you will be sadly dissppointed! But hey, if Jimmie is your boy and that's enough to get you to see the movie, well alright then--it's definitely worth renting!!

Ryan Gosling?

He was in The United States of Leland, Murder By Numbers, and Remember the Titans.

The Notebook Sucked..Spoilers

So I finally saw this movie. Some girl at my work said it was amazing. She said everyone was crying in the theatre. Then one of my friends....yes one of my friends, said it was moving and a great movie. So I watched two movies yesterday. First was Star Wars Episode I. I don't know if it was because Episode 3 is so good or what, but it was better than I remember it. I think everyone drinking hateraid made me think it was bad. Does it have problems? Yes. It isn't perfect. But its not as bad as people say. Then I watched the Notebook. That movie sucked. What part is supposed to make you cry? Is it when the old bag goes loco and hits the old man? I thought that was funny if anything. Then they give the whole thing away half way through when the kids come to visit. Instead of wondering if they ended up together, we already know. They end up together, have 5 kids, and she gets Alzeimers late in life. BFD. Then we have to watch another 45 minutes for nothing. That movie is bad. Real bad. But the chick is easy on the eyes at least.

We haven't seen it yet, but everyone we've heard from says they either loved it or could have done without it.
