Sign Deion "Primetime" Sanders as a player coach.... guarantee we would have some Sunday night or Monday night games scheduled......That way everyone can watch his ego explode!!!:D

I still can't believe this guy thinks he can coach.... how about you actually try doing it first at High School or College

He was one of the greatest cover corners of all time...
Let's sign him up for $8M over two years. We'll promote the hell out of him. Think of the tickets we could sell.

He's no longer coaching there.

Rich Brooks is the head coach there now.

But Mummy (that's not the correct spelling, but obviously I can't remember how to spell it either :D) is not an NFL caliber coach.

I've never seen a coach try more 4th down conversions in a single game. Combined (meaning every game I've ever watched adds up to the amount of times he tried in a single game).

I want someone that has the Air Coryell mentality.....an offensive innovator..... is it too much to ask fro some creativity and coming up with some new things people haven't seen before... create some problems for defenses to worry about

I don't trust the Cards ownership enough to want them to go after someone like that.

Jim Fassel is good enough for me.

A detail oriented coach, has had a lot of success with lesser talent, hires solid assistant coaches, and motivates a team to win.

We had our most "potent" offense over the last ten years when Fassel was our OC. :D

Fassel took over playcalling duties from Sean Payton last season, and the G-men started scoring 10 more points a game.

And have you ever looked at the Giants offensive talent, and thought that they should be playing at the level they have?

The have a gutless, coward at QB (Collins)

A damn good third down back (Barber)

A good receiver (Toomer) and a frequently injured good #2 (Hilliard).

A headcase, overrated tight end (Shockey)

And a rag tag offensive line (is there a single Pro Bowl caliber player on that line?)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Year in, year out, the Giants should be one of the WORST offenses in the league (IMO) yet they've been pretty good at times.

I'll agree that we're lacking creativity. We need to try different things. When was the last time we threw a flea flicker? When was the last time we faked a kick?

IF, and that's a big IF....we sign Fassel, we must bring Jim McNally with him.

I guarantee our offensive line would become a top 5 line under him. For the past few years, he has taken a bunch of UDFAs and late round picks, and turned them into a good line.

I don't disagree with any of those points.... I actually like the Fassel idea..... it would be nice to have a proven head coach instead of an experiment...

I like Mac alot......it's just getting really hard to back him based on the results

If you want to see a guy like that watch the Houston Cougars play in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Day. Briles - formerly an assistant at Texas Tech.
