The Dwight power flow chart was great. It's good to see him being Dwight again.

In the job fair ep Mike saying he wants to euthanize the place was great. When Dwight and Angela were alone together I was expecting them to start talking again but stubbornness won out.

The job fair was yet again so funn y and uncomfortable to watch, ya knew Michael was gonna say something stupid like "This is Pam, the office hottie, you could probably get her" (paraphrasing) that was so funny but when he started going towards the mic I started saying out loud "Oh don't go up there, don't don't".lol...Michael is a walking train wreck

"This is Pam, the office hottie. She'll do you.................Not really, but she has hooked up with two people in the office--that we know of--this could be number three."

Creed - "I've been done with my work for months"

That was hilarious. What does he do there anyway?

What an OMFG episode! I don't even know where to begin.

I like the new girl a lot better than Jan. She's the complete opposite (ie. nice)

The opening scene was great. It felt like one of the old episodes. There hasn't been as much Jim/Dwight interaction this season and that was great.

The closing scene was a hell of a cliffhanger. I can't wait for next season. Oh, Office, I miss you already.

Stupid Andy ruined Jim's perfectly planned moment. Now when will he propose?

I wonder how Jan's pregnancy is going to play out, especially with a new girl vying for Michael's attention.

What's Ryan's future?

That's a lot of suspense going in to next season. The writers set themselves up with plenty of ammo for future episodes.

This episode WAS entering into Kate's All-Time Favorite Episodes Category... that is until....

At the point of Andy ruining Jim's proposal was where this episode went COMPLETELY SOUR for me and ruined the whole episode. Jim and Pam SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENGAGED BY THE END OF THIS EPISODE. Now, since Pam was all "I thought Jim was gonna propose" its going to be a BUNCH OF CRAP DRAMA for the three months over summer break. Can the writers not let this couple actually be happy and BE a couple? Give me a freaking BREAK. Go ahead, have Pam do her internship thing in NY. GO ahead, have them break up for those three months cuz Pam didnt get her proposal. GO right ahead, JERKS.

UGh. I am sorry, this is just a TV show. I am still pissed as all hell.

Top 3 worst things of this episode:

1. Jim and Pam being interrupted before the proposal - stupid, not needed and just plain dumb

2. Dwight and Angela shot at the very end - We all know they still liked eachother - this should have been shown as a flashback during this fall's season premiere or something - now it just negates Andy's proposal WHICH INTERFERED WITH JIM's PROPOSAL!!!!!

3. Jan - I used to like them together but now her character is dead to me. How awful.

To end this one a happy note:

1. Kevin and Holly interaction was the funniest thing I have ever seen on this show. I was literally howling.

2. Dwight saying "This is my fault" was both heartbreaking and sad, but it needed to have been said.

3. Michael and Holly - I actually really enjoyed them together.

edited to add: 4. Michael's glee that Toby was leaving (so funny!!)

This is an epic meltdown for me and I apologize in advance but I am so freaking pissed off right now.

Holly talking like Yoda back to Mike may have been the best moment of the episode. I also like when Jim and Mike have their real moments together, like when Mike told Jim to go for it during Booze Cruise. Jim helping Mike out was really cool.

I am still steaming. And according to the TWOP forums, a bunch of other JAM'ers are pissed off, too.

Okay, meltdown is over. Pam was just disappointed, doesn't mean they're gonna break up or have rocky times while she's in NY for school. I wouldnt doubt that we never get to see the ending - maybe she'll come back next season already engaged, etc. Anyway, I'm over it, just slightly disappointed that it couldnt be a happy season ender it terms of JAM. It just wasnt the right moment for them.

This episode really was freaking awesome. Very well acted, too.

And yes, I realize I am way too invested in these fictional characters. :)

Kate, the worst part of this show is the Jim/Pam relationship. This show was at its best when they WEREN'T together. It's still good, just not as good as it used to be. The two of them being married would hurt the dynamics of the show because it's not really interesting anymore as an interoffice relationship (which it's been in danger of for all this season).

that scene was hilarious "what do I do here?!?"

i also agree about the jim/pam dynamic - i really never liked the sappy office romance angle and it's obviously cheesey play to the female audience

i don't need drama in my comedy - unless it leads to more comedy

Just brilliant. After he said "I do the numbers." I had to pause it because I was crying from laughing so hard. Holly is so sweet, and Kevin is so...Kevin.

"That one's a button."

"Yes, I drive my own car...just like you..."

Absolutely loved that stuff...it was seriously the greatest angle they've ever taken on this show.

Considering it was Toby's last day, the ep was a little Toby light. Anyone else feel that way?
He was cool, but the Pam thing bordered on creepy.

Great trivia from wikipedia;

Paul Lieberstein wrote this episode, thus writing off his own character.

This episode marks the first appearance of Holly Flax (Amy Ryan), who is presumed to be a regular member of the cast (being as she replaced Toby) for the upcoming fifth season. She was written with Amy Ryan in mind as the Office writers are fans of The Wire, a show previously mentioned on the Office.
