This is Fitzgerald's last season here.
This will be Palmers last season.

Why not take one of Bridgewater or Manziel, groom him a year. We've always had terrible backups and have to rely on veteran old guys to save us a year or two. We NEED that franchise QB. Both of the QB's have the ability to be that.

Can they bust? Sure, but we need to take that chance ONCE. We can't keep ignoring the position.

In 2006 we drafted a former Heisman Trophy winning QB who slid down the draft and that didn't work out too well.

It does not mean anything. A bad experience does not mean you don't give it another try. I like Carr better, but would not mind Manziel or Bridgewater. It would be a GREAT time to start grooming QBOF
