Season 1-2 were pretty good, with amazing Vaughn/Sydney stuff. Season 3 was heartbreaking and I HATE LAUREN REED!

Season 4 started off okay, but now it's just boring. I don't really care at all about Nadia or Sloan or any of that.

I'll finish the series cause that's how I roll, but I don't think I'll be adding this TV show to my all-time favorites anytime soon.

Sydney Bristow IS effing badass though, no doubt.

edit: I loved Will Tippin!

It finished strong after a pretty weak stretch although I don't think it ever again approaches it's SD-6 level. Still, it's one of those shows I think of fondly even if it didn't live up to it's potential.

Okay, just finished up Alias. I bawled my freaking eyes out when Sydney said bye to Jack. Like full on sobbing, haha. Nice ending.

Overall, seasons 1-2 were the best, then 5/3, then 4, imo. Season 3 would have been ahead of 5 but the Lauren Reed character just drove me insane with hatred. Marshall cracked me up. Loved Will Tippin (so hot) and I am very happy that Syndey/Vaugh was endgame.

TV Spies are badass :)

I didn't care for the story line involving that character but I do like Melissa George in other things. She's very good in a new show called Hunted (Cinemax) where she works (mostly undercover) for an intelligence outfit. She's no Sydney Bristow but IMO, it's right up there with the early seasons of Alias and 24.

Just started watching this. It's one of those series I kept saying I would get around to but never did. Then I forgot it existed.

Through 5 episodes it's ... OK. About what I expected.

I could barely get through half the first season of that show. Alias blows it out of the water.
Probably. Not saying much. :) I figured no one would care much if I trolled this thread since the show is so old. :)

That's another show that they ruined. It started out great and then they just had to go and change things. Oh well, tis the way of the big Networks. More often than not they go off chasing audiences instead of trying to build one.

I thought the first half of season one was pretty good. Not Alias good but pretty good, especially once they stopped trying to prove how ultra-urban cool her lesbian friend was. It started going downhill for me when they paralyzed the Michael Weatherly character and took away his fortune.

Almost done with first season. I go in and out of caring about this show. Some of the action sequences are film quality. Some are just Charlie's Angels redux horse puckey.

Quentin Tarrantino? The camera mugging was annoying.

One thing is for sure: There are a lot of leading man who care way too much for this woman who continually puts them in harm's way. She seems to be not as troubled as her story arc would suggest. She's more pathological than just. The story line with her ex-SD6 boyfriend never hit an emotional pique.
