Too bad a Scud is a Tactical Balistic Missile. When was the last time you heard "and Derek Anderson throws another Tactical Balistic Missile deep..."?

Scud < Pam Anderson

The other thing is that a scud didn't necessarily have to be accurate to do its job and inflict damage. A Throw from DA can't just be in the "vicinity" and still be good. Thus the nickname blows.

Replace Tactical Ballistic Missile with Pam Anderson and it doesn't make any sense either.

I say call him Skud; he couldn't even Scud right.

Indeed. A Scud was a weapon of Terror. Clearly DA doesn't strike fear in his opponents.

That's where the inaccuracies come in. Strike fear in teammates via collateral damage.

I have at least 7 friends that will back me up. :D

Hes off to get them now. Just like he recruited Linder to come in here and back scud no more than 5 minutes after I told him they only had a whoppping 8 people or so on the bandwagon. :)

I'm waiting for mulli to chime in any second.

I'll go with whatever I'm given. I am called names so often on here none of them bother me or phase me in the least. :)

Every throw by Scud Anderson inflicts damage. Damage to the other team or damage to his own team. The extent of the damage is unknown, the range of it is unknown and it doesn't discriminate in its casualty count, lots of friendly fire.

A Scud was a weapon of "terror" that everyone laughed at. Kind of like the Republican Guard of our offensive line. Looks big, sounds tough...bunch of pansies who run scared while Scuds fly in every direction behind them.

All the while 82 screams "we will win 10 games!"

Pfft. DCR would never, ever recruit me to back him up. First, it would imply that he actually cares about your opinion on the matter, and second, he knows better, lol.

Holy crap that's funny!!! :D

Talk to me after Sunday... I know it's "just the Raiders", but for me, this game will tell me a ton about what lies ahead for this team. ;)

Now this is funny and sadly true. Have to admit the name Scud Anderson has a nice ring to it and it rolls easily off the tongue. Scud Anderson is prefect!

I agree.

And it sure didn't take Mulli long to respond after Shane recruited him. :p

You mean Mulli "Sycophant" Mullit? You should have seen that guy fawning over me when he thought I'd be elected president...and to think I had him as a running mate. Now he's wrapped around Shane's pinky.
