Lamb chops, broiled rare. Homegrown steamed Kale w olive oil. Homegrown asparagus w lemon and a bit of butter. Good chardonnay.
Later, some homemade lemon custard ice cream.

Can we be friends so I can get invited over for dinner? :D

I like breakfast for dinner, too. Or for lunch - I'm more just a coffee person to start the day and it's usually 11 or 12 before I get around to serious breakfast.

Tonight's a big sloppy 'kitchen sink' salad, about half of it from my garden.

I like breakfast for dinner about 20 times more than breakfast for breakfast.

I have a smoked half ham I need to cook. Any suggestions how to do this? I want to honey glaze it as well. I love honey glazed ham.

Low temp, several hours. No suggestions on the honey glaze, however.

Nice!

The ham came out ok, the glaze was really simple and good. Downside is that we now have a ton of ham leftover.

Reminds me of the old Monty Python skit:

For leftovers, we have ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, ham, baked beans, and ham.

lol...sent an entire ham to my ex's at Easter--they loved it, but they had a ton of leftovers, too. I can't remember all the things they said they made with it, but ham & eggs for breakfast was one of them.

Take the end of the ham, and whip it in a food processor with some cayenne, dijon, worchestershire and mayo. Add some chopped celery and pickles. Devilled Ham!

Slice some left overs thivkly and put them between some buttermilk biscuits. Make a quick mustard/honey butter for slathering.

Dice up some left overs, throw them in a pot of black eyed peas.

Ham doesnt give up. neither should you!

The Monty Python skit was Spam, wasnt it?

Yeah, the MP skit was about spam.

I want to do a ham and white bean soup with it, the devilled ham sounds good.

May also try a ham / rice thing that my wife likes when I do it with sausage.

I don't eat burgers often but when I do, it's always 5 Guys. Love their bread, love their beef but I'm not too fond of their fries. I wish they'd steal Fatburger's Onion Rings recipe so that when I want to be bad I can be really bad.
