Hey all - I'm new to the thread, but have been reading past posts to catch up. You guys are hilarious!
Anyway... I'm a huge X-Files fan, although, being broke, I only have Season 4 (my fave season) on DVD. I have the rest on tape, although it's been a long time since I sat and watched episodes all the way through. But, I miss the show desperately.
One of my favorite episodes, which no one has really mentioned is "Never Again." Mostly because it's Scully-centric, but too, because it's the first episode I ever saw.... and the reason I watched it was because Jodie Foster was a 'guest star.' And also... it got me hooked on this awesome show. Any comments about "Never Again?"

WOW and your first post is on the X-Files thread!!
Welcome to the board, BEX!!!
Here's my view on "Never Again:" There's been a big debate on whether Scully actually slept with Ed Jerse. Many people say "no" because she was still wearing her pantyhose when she woke up in the morning and also that it was "un-Scullylike." My personal opinion is that Scully DID have sex with Ed. The whole night was "un-Scullylike" with the tattoo and her throwing caution to the wind and actually going out with Ed.
I think she slept with Ed because she was trying to "get back" and Mulder. They'd been fighting and he'd been very unsympathetic to her plight, and I think this was Scully's chance for rebellion. And maybe, in a small way, because she "missed" Mulder (at least emotionally). Kind of like Mulder in Season Two's "3" (the vampire ep), Mulder slept with that chick, probably because he was missing Scully - by having sex with her, was a way to fill the void.
The tattoo scene was VERY erotic... I still can't believe Scully got one. But still, it's a shame the writers NEVER talked about/showed the tattoo ever again.
Anyhoo, I also enjoy this ep because of the M/S angst. They are just NOT happy campers with eachother at the end. It leaves a very hallow feeling, to me at least, as the camera pans out with Scully looking down and Mulder looking anywhere but at her.
So yeah, I do enjoy this ep. It was great to have Jodie Foster in it, too
So what's everyone's opinion on this ep - Did Scully sleep with Ed Jerse or not?
