GREEN BAY - One of the popular breakfast restaurants in Green Bay will be getting some national spotlight prior to the 2025 NFL fraft.

On Sunday, an ESPN crew was at The Pancake Place, 143 S. Military Ave., where they filmed an NFL draft promotion. Lisa June, the manager of The Pancake Place, said the opportunity was a quick turnaround, as ESPN crews were getting breakfast on Saturday at the establishment.

"They loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, and they did tell me that they would like to come on Sunday, and with their cameras and interview," June told the Press-Gazette. Following that, the restaurant made a Facebook post, asking for customers to show up in their Green Bay Packers apparel.

June said it was a packed house on Sunday, and that the video is set to come out a week before the draft for ESPN's draft opener.

During the draft, the restaurant will have extended hours, 5 a.m.-4 p.m., instead of closing at 2 p.m. daily.

Customers will also be able to try the restaurant's special dish, "The Tailgater," which is usually available only during the NFL season. The dish has stuffed hash browns with brats, cheddar cheese, and onions.
