The Passion of the Christ a huge hit so far

I can't watch Passion twice. All it was, was Jesus getting his arss whooped severly. Who would buy that movie just to watch that again. I can't even remember there really being any dialouge. All I know is that Mel Gibson made one of the greatest investments anyone has ever made.

It is expected to run through Easter weekend, and Davey said that this might become a perennial release.

shocker. Mel Gibson isn't stupid - he'll milk this cash cow till it bleeds (and judging from his movie - he'd probably get off on such ).

What I'd like to see is Gibson actually cut like he's talking about, but oh, maybe ADD A FREAKING STORY to the movie. One long 2nd act - no first or third - what a shame - he's a good filmaker and the legend, myth, religious stories - whatever you will - about Jesus are arguably, whichever way you look at it, amongst the greatest stories ever told.
