Youtube is our friend. Will have to watch this for pre-game! This was before I discovered ASU football, so I missed it the first time around...

I might have to revisit that myself. It was really an exciting time. At 16 years old I got to go to a couple of games with my Dad who was an ASU graduate. Very special times, the Suns were new and Kush had ASU cooking. I miss my Dad.

The family makes it extra special.

:“Sam, you’re not going to prove you’re the better quarterback. I’ve got bad news for you there. Ultimately, he’s in real trouble here. I mean, I applaud anybody who talks a good game. But ultimately, Quinn Ewers is still one of the better quarterbacks in the country. He gets overrated a little bit, but this is not going to happen for Sam. Texas should win this game. I think they’ll win pretty easily too.”

Damn, I was 19 then. What the hell? I don't feel this old.

Any Finebaum takes mean less than nothing. Ask him how he's feeling about his big "Bama beating the crap out of Michigan" prediction right about now.

Now all ASU has to do is win out to become national champions. This is what dreams are made of.

The Sun Devils should treasure each moment. These opportunities do not come along very often.

The game last night gave me additional hope. Boise was competitive and if not for so many unforced errors who knows? I think Texas is not materially better than Penn St…in fact PSU is likely better.

ASU has a better QB, full RB corp than Boise State. WRs minus Tyson probably a wash. OL…hard to tell but probably a wash.

Defense is an issue since ASU gets very little pass rush and the Texas WR are talented and athletic.

I was 16 and Spagnola was the toast of the town but I remember it like it was yesterday, just wish I could actually remember yesterday. I know what you mean about not feeling this old. Some days, I still feel like the younger me but some days my body insists on telling me the truth.

I so like seeing those old style maroon and gold uniforms, with Sparky on the helmet.

When I was much younger, where one could walk by the playing field, I often thought how could anyone lose wearing these uniforms.
