so far the punter made the best pass in the game if you take away the first 2 throws Ewers made. the first throw Ewers made is what makes him good. he can hit guys on the run in stride off play action. will probably see that in the second half.

There was a sideline pass by Ewers that had to be perfect, which impressed me the most.

I like Ewers but even on the PI call that ball was seriously under thrown. On the replays it didn’t even look catchable .

I think Sam will be the better QB and looks better today but I sure wish he and Cam would have kept quiet and let their play do the talking.

Stats don’t always tell the story.

Texas defense played to their strength in the first half. they will let you throw in front of them. then the field shrinks they will make the drive winning play. georgia is the only team that has been able to run the ball on them in the red zone and that is why they lost that game. and ironically a fake punt by georgia as well.

Sam has made more “good” throws in this game than has Ewers.

he probably will win that race and I guess that's ok so long as the score remains in texas favor. there is always a scenario where you can outplay your counterpart and still lose the game when you play a team sport. that's why I think his comments were immature.
