Wasn't Whiz just last week saying they had a plan, are going to be aggressive, and are ready to get started and spend money??? So we have Jeff King and Ben Graham. Graves probably needs to take a day off after all this activity.

I didn't say anything about marquee guys. The Cards aren't going after guys like that. Guys that could be signed are the ones that are moving and the Cards have signed a blocking TE. I'm talking guys like Barry Cofield, Pozluznny, and the like. Guys that could fill needs on the Cards. I serioulsy doubt the Cards are waiting to make an offer for Nandi or Johnathon Joseph. There aren't many DL out there. That's where they need to be looking. OL guys like Dahl, Clabo, Bushrod, Jospeph (not happening), Blalock can be pursued an we're lookng at Olin Kreutz . I guess Bryan Robinson said he may play another year so we're OK. I bet you can't wait to get to Flagstaff to see the one-on one drill of Kreutz vs. B-Rob.

Maybe you are looking the other way so you get signed to a Cardinals contract ?

I too am getting pretty frustrated with the lack of things getting done. I know its early but it would be nice to know if they were even attempting to go after top level FA's. At this rate, they are going to have to give Fitz $25M a year to get to the salary floor.

No I'm not worried. I dontworry or get up in arms about things I can't really control. Life's to short for that crap. We will make some moves. Some I like and some I won't. Trust me if you have seen me speak negatively about this team. At one point very negative. It's just thatvright now he first and most important thing this team needs is a QB. Everything else is just window dressing.

Heard from a couple of agents that things are actually pretty slow right now in terms of teams trying to negotiate with their guys. Agents feel that 99% of the league is not to comfortable with negotiating with a player only to be played as pawns. Meaning why do the work for another team only to have that team match your offer to keep said player, which is absolutely correct considering deals cant be signed until Friday.

Anyone else find it how just how quiet things are right now during this compressed FA period. There is so far, far less movement these first 2-3 days then there is in a normal far less compressed FA period. Expect to see the flurry of action starting Friday across the NFL that we were all expecting to already be happening.

You may be right. My point is, Rod Graves and this organization have not put up a track record that encourages any of us to trust them or their judgment. They rarely sign FAs and the ones they do, especially at the OL position, have been horrendous.

It is completely understandable that other teams are taking things slow. Not the Cardinals, it is unacceptable they are not taking advantage of the opportunities in front of them. They have the money, the massive amount of urgent needs, and the room to get some good talent. This free agency period will have better talent then what will be available for some time.

If they are trying to get the perfect deal, well then they are niave and stupid. You don't get to have that kind of leverage when your team sucks, and everyone in the league knows it. The Steelers, Pats, Colts, and Packers have earned there leverage through wins, sacrifice, and being a competitive NFL team year in and year out.

If the Cardinals think they have earned any respect for a two year period that is proving to be a fluke, then those front office people are far dumber than I first thought. The only thing they are known for is losing, being cheap, and letting good talent go. They are going to have to do more to get what good organizations get for less.

They have no one to blame but the people in the front office. They have their fan base, stadium, and everything a NFL franchise could ask for. They have no more excuses. They fail now it is because they are ignorant, negligent, and cheap.
