That's true, but I said a little bit of a better shooting night. They would have had to shoot 48% to win that game, and that is entirely doable.

Still doesn't change the fact that 37% is a terrible shooting percentage.

Depends on what you mean by "terrible." To me, "terrible" is something quite unusually bad, that happens maybe 5% of the time or so. I'm sure the Lakers' supporting cast was in the mid-30s several times this season, just as I'm sure they were over 50% several times. FG% just isn't that consistent on a game-to-game basis. So I guess the point is, whether it's "terrible" or not, it's not all that uncommon.

The Lakes shot 45% in that early April game while out-rebounding the Suns and still lost by 11.

No, Kobe shot 57% and the other lakers shot 37%.
