Whiz said that this happens, this is an emotional game and things like this happen. He even used the example (coughlikesomeoneelseonthisboardcough) of how Warner and Haley were getting at it in the first quarter. It is all explained well in his press conference.
Haley said that is was just emotions running high, and it was after they substituted Breaston for Boldin. The reason being they thought Breaston could run a little better out there.
Warner even chimed in, and when he tells it, it makes you feel foolish about the whole situation. Telling stories about his wife asking "What did you and Haley fight about this week?" He seemed almost shocked a what a big deal it was. Went on to tell a bit of a story about coach player relationships.
Now Boldin in his own words has echoed what everyone else said. It was the heat of the moment. He just didn't understand why he was taken out and not given an explaination. It is not big deal. FURTHERMORE, he left early because he knew that people would do nothing but talk about his spat with Haley, and didn't want that to become a big story.
And all others all have said the same thing. The story checks out, the situation was exactly what many on this board thought it was. Boldin wanted to be in, and had a disagreement about it with Haley. It should be obvious that Boldin understood it was at a bad time since he left rather quickly trying to not let the situation blow up.
So I think it is time to drop the situation, it obviously is a whole lot of nothing. Just the media fishing for stories from here on out.
So, essentially, I wish I could have grabbed Anquan and dragged him back on the field. Tell him to stop being silly and enjoy the celebration. Nobody cares about that kind a stuff and really he only made the story bigger by leaving. Too bad he missed out on that.
I guess he will have to insure a win at the Superbowl so he can enjoy at least one big party on the field this year
