This was such a tough call. You figure the Rams might score a bunch. I did, but getting the first points is important. I probably take the FG, but I can see it’s near 50/50
It was. I was ok in some ways given the fact that we were out of playoff contention. But had we still been in, it was a boneheaded call.

and if you're not going to kick the fg why in the hell would you run the rb who was questionable the entire week? why not use him as the decoy? why not audible out of that playcall when it was obvious they we're coming in mass? kyler knew it wasn't going to work but ran it anyway so it wouldn't be on him - and screw petzing for making conner the sacrificial lamb like that behind a line like this - you take the points on the road in a close game against a division rival 100% of the time when kyler murray and a one legged james conner are the only other options - this isn't dobbs science

Not much mention of the Seahawk first down that shouldn’t have been at the end of first half. No doubt they would have punted if it was reviewed as it should have been. Some critical of Cardinals for not calling timeout but the review should have happened and it resulted in 3 points.

If Conner wasn’t healthy, he shouldn’t have been playing. I was hoping they would sit him against the Rams and let him finish against the 9ers.
Back to the topic, they should have just taken the points. This new “analytics” trend of always going for it on 4th is getting ridiculous. It’s the madden generation. If these coaches would just coach fundamentally….
Just like the Falcons game last night. Having two timeouts at end of regulation and not using them when they had time to get into better fg range.

4 carries for 4 yards (total) and didn't even finish the first half - conner had no business being in that meaningless game - especially on that play - petzing should be flogged with the stupid stick for that stupid ish - almost like he didn't want the first down or the points - this one play pretty much ruined the game for me lol i couldn't let it go

i mean if we're going to be that stupid let's go for the glory too - play action to conner- send a wr streaking down each side line and slant mcbride up the middle - let it fly - but nah - let's try to drive a busted car through the security gate instead

It reminded me of last year when JG was going for it all the time and passing up the points. Then this year when we were still in it he slowed his roll and played much closer to the vest now we're out of it and he's trying some crazy stuff for whatever reason again. IMO
