The following was in the AZR this morning.
One of the Heat's buddies who helps crank the Broncos' PR machine has dug deep to come up with some interesting facts about Jake Plummer.
His ratings for the past three games (129.5, 128.5 and 116.9) represent the best three- game stretch in team history.
He has thrown seven TD passes in a three game span for the second time in his career, and the first time without an interception.
His completion percentage for the past three games (69.2,66.7 and 73.5 marks the best three-game numbers in his career.
He is the first Denver QB since John Elway in 1993 to have completed two-thirds of his passes or better in three straight games.
Now we all know alot of you posters were just ecstatic with our up-grade at QB along with that "crack" reporter from Ch. 12 Mark Curtis. A number of you said Jake would be riding the pine by week 3 or 4 while the "Little fella" would have us at 4/0 or 3/1. It's early in the season so I'll wait and hope for our team to right the ship and make it's move.
In addition, some of you feel that Graves, wait until June, no wait until training camp, no wait until after week one, was and is a big upgrade over Fergy.
Lets' see isn't Fergy's team at 4/0? Oh well.
Man, for a guy that's been a "half fuller" from day one, being on the other side isn't much fun. I really hope that they can but...........
