Or K9? Didn't he once say that the NFL isn't letting players "be as black as they want to be?"

Ok I am firmly in the "Deion is a Cowboy homer and an idiot" camp.

After him basically saying that we need to give Pacman the benefit of the doubt in this instance since his football life was stripped from him, and then stating that we need to stop pacifying these players (his reference to Romo holding on to the ball too long, and that teams have caught up to Garrett's offense.)

I was absolutely floored. His attitude towards the Cowboys loss all makes sense now. He basically gave the Cards no credit and stressed that he doesn't like the Cards defense even though they just put a beating on Romo. What a smuck! I don't expect him to be on the Cards bandwagon, but at least be objective ya homer!

The real question to me is "What sanctions will be placed on the Cowboys for trying to cover this incident up?"

He complained and whined about it on NFL Network. No surprise really.

Oh man, I was only half listening, But Terrel Davis was talking to Deion about it, Deion said something to the effect of "He stayed out of trouble for 14 months and should be commended, this was a private matter, and the league has no right to intervene"

At which point Terrel Davis said " Well domestic violence typically happens in the privacy of one's home, but it's still an offense."

And Deion follows up with "And last time I checked, domestic violence won't get you suspened from your job." lmao

Wow, now I know what happened to Baghdad Bob. He's tutoring Deion and Jerry Jones. ;)

Thanks I caught the tail end of that yesterday but didn't see the start so I wasn't sure how they got there.

Deion is an idiot, he's had this reality show running on tv that shows his family and what a religious man he is and how all the Primetime stuff was just for show and deep down he's a great person. Even talked in that show about how he was mentoring Pacman Jones.

So now we find out that Pacman hasn't really changed, hell Dallas media has been reporting for days now that Pacman has been out partying regularly this was not a onetime thing. And what does Deion do, claim it was invasion of privacy and the league has no business getting involved?

They reinstated Pacman with rules, drinking being one of those rules. Even Jerry "I see what I want to see" Jones admitted yesterday Pacman has a problem with alcohol, now that we know he's been out drinking regularly and the Cowboys were just looking the other way how can anybody defend the guy and claim he's being mistreated by the NFL? If I were the NFL Network I'd think seriously about employing someone who is incapable of putting his personal bias aside.

The real question to me is "What sanctions will be placed on the Cowboys for trying to cover this incident up?"

THe ultimate irony to me, someone asked Jerry jones if the security guy would be fired for the incident with Pacman and he said well the reality is that because of this the entire security detail is out of a job, without Pacman on the team there's no need for them.

So he's basically saying we hired a team of people to babysit the guy and now that he's suspended again, they're all fired. Sounds to me like Pacman's career in Dallas is over.

Now the real question is will the Cowboys release him??

"If he does adhere to the things the commissioner has outlined, if he earns his way back, I certainly would definitely consider (taking) him back,” Jerry Jones said.

"I certainly would definitely consider (taking) him back,” Jerry Jones said, I rather enjoyed Larry Fitzgerald abusing him like a 2 dollar ho, The character he brings to the locker room, is just the icing on the cake."

I thought the real question was, if he had been a Cardinal, would he have been suspended BEFORE Sunday's game?

He'd never have been a Cardinal. I think Dallas was one of a handful of NFL teams that even considered him. I mean the Titans still have Haynesworth despite his onfield issues, it shows you how bad Jones was as a Titan that they dumped him first chance they could.

you're willing to keep a player who stomped on a guys head, but not Pacman, that tells you how bad Pacman was there.

The question has been asked about why Jerry Jones didn't suspend him. The unanswered answer would be " if Dallas suspends him, the deal with Titans remains the same, but if the NFL suspends him, the Titans have to give something back." Just a possibility.

PHILLIPS THINKS PACMAN ERA IS OVER
From Profootballtalk.com

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said on Wednesday that he doesn’t think cornerback Pacman Jones will return to the Cowboys, even after Jones is reinstated from his latest suspension.

“I can’t count on him coming back or us bringing him back or any of those other things,” Phillips said, according to Tim MacMahon of the Dallas Morning News.

“He’s gone. That’s what it looks like to me. I’m not saying what’s going to happen in the future, because I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future or what is or isn’t going to be done there. But I can’t go there. I’ve got to go with the players I have.”

From any other coach, these words would be a clear sign that the player truly is done. But we’re talking about the Cowboys, where the head coach is merely a glorified defensive coordinator with his pink slip awaiting the owner’s signature. So, basically, we don’t put much stock in anything Phillips says about Pacman.

I'm not sure but I think the author of this story is not a Jerry Jones fan?

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8678708/Jerry-Jones-exposed-as-gutless-by-Goodell's-ruling

"Pacman had been suspended for all of 2007, but Jerry Jones couldn't resist. He thought the New York Giants stole a Super Bowl season last year that was rightfully his, and he was willing to do anything to get it back.

Including covering for a cover man who wasn't worth covering for.

No felony, no foul, was the owner's pathetic ruling on Pacman's fight with a member of the Cowboys' security detail assigned to track his every off-field step. Jones dismissed the incident at a Dallas hotel as "a personal thing" that was "resolved in a personal manner."

In other words, like the book title says, Boys will be Boys."

Wow, now that's going after someone with both barrels.
