I don't agree with Sherman's take and think he is taking an extremely entitled view. I do not think it is too much to ask that you speak with the media after games, and that you do not promote products that compete with the league's sponsorships. If the players do not agree they are free to lean back on their free college education and earn their paychecks 40 hours at a time.

I think it's hypocritical for the NFL to say they care about player safety, and then have them play Thursday night games. I think it's a shame that they'd even consider going to 18 games as well, but that's not part of the discussion.

And I think it's just noise. Yes, if they truly valued the player's health above all else, they'd cancel the Thursday games. And the Monday games. And the Sunday and Saturday games not to mention Thanksgiving and so on. There are some risks and they probably do go up disproportionately with the short week for Thursday games. The league is trying to manage those risks and I'm quite sure they'll do something about Thursdays if the facts show it to be a real problem. But do you think the players want to give back all the money they earn as a result of the extra game slots?

Couple things, first I am not (as many of you know) a Richard Sherman fan, like, at all, and I hate the over priced Beats By Dre fashion statements he peddles to all those poor kids in Compton.

Actually, I think he peddles them to the wanna-be's who wouldn't know Compton if someone dropped them off at the Jack in the Box at Santa Fe and Rosecrans.

Last I checked it's still somewhat of a free country. You can challenge, but be prepared.

Sherman doesn't acknowledge he profits from the very things he criticizes as well. NO.ONE is IMMUNE unless your the second coming of the Baptist.

The NFLPA agreement means Sherman is getting paid from the deal the NFL has with BOSE. So why is he talking mess? He is double dipping with his deal with Beats by Dre.. So none of what Sherman made sense.. He looks like an idiot. But that's nothing new.

And Barkley, is very intelligent. He said no one in the position of making millions of dollars should complain, because he was very privledged to make what he made just to play a sport. No need rubbing it others faces..

Just cause you graduated from a school, doesn't mean you have common sense.. Sherman has none..

What does that anything to do with I just said? No one talked about their families.. But ok.. Barkley grew up in Leeds Alabama. The poor south. And made something of himself, without being a complete jackass.. He always owned up to his failures like a man. I just don't get your Sherman love.. He may be book smart, but he is clearly out of touch with reality..
