Jarrod Parker was promoted to AA Mobile today, after dominating in Visalia (which have been re-named the Rawhide this season for some reason). After 19 innings over four starts for Visalia, he posted a minuscule ERA of 0.95, with four walks and 21 strikeouts. Considering that he is only 20 years old, this should be quite a challenging move for him.

Last year's first rounder, Dan Schlereth is off to a nice start as well in Mobile. He has an ERA of 1.50 after six innings in relief and could be another candidate for an early season promotion. I've heard he still needs some work on his control though first, he does have four walks in those six innings already. Obviously the Diamondback bullpen's poor start only helps his chances, so we'll see what happens.
