Parra needs to play every game, even against lefties.

Yes, Cowgill is awful

And although his average has been poor in the 2 hole, we need him to gain the confidence there for playoff run.

Enough of Ransom and Cowgill already. I can handle the Burroughs and Blanco spot start, but this is getting ridiculous.

If you have to rest Young, Upton and Parra occasionally, throw Bloomquist out there, play Roberts at SS, and Burroughs at 3rrd.

I said coming into the road trip we are looking at 3-7 POSSIBLY 4-6... I am starting to think 2-8 might be the reailty, POSSIBLY 3-7...

We are clinging to a 1 game lead still... but we HAVE to take 2 of the final 3 games of the trip... it is a must..

We've got Kennedy on the hill tonight. Once again, he's going to have to be nearly perfect in order to keep us in the game and give us a chance.
We just don't have the horses at the plate. It's Upton or bust for this team.

All Or Nothing

With the D'backs hitting so pathetically game after game, when is management going to realize that the mentality of All Or Nothing (home runs or popups/strikeouts) has ruined the team?

The announcers are caught up in it, constantly hoping for home runs in their play-by-play.

The sponsors are caught up in it -- "Ford loves home runs".

Kirk Gibson apparently supports it, with most of his background being in the American League.

It is not just the fault of the players. It is not a coincidence.

Look at the results. Obviously, it is not working.

I don't know, it looks like it's working to me. This is a very average roster and yet we're in the middle of a playoff race at least in part because of Gibby's philosophy.

Yep. Lots of teams would love to be so ruined.

Finished 4-6, as I predicted.

Rain Game in Philly really screwed them up for the ATL series
