Right now I kinda feel like last year was so bad that some fans have been beaten down into accepting moral victories or hanging with a team for a quarter or two while they warm up and then drag us up and down the field. Can't speak for everyone, of course.
That's actually a good point that I've thought since the end of last year. Looking for anything positive seems to be the norm now and it's kinda depressing thinking it could be 2-3 years to be competitive, and IMHO we are more then just "a few players away" from being competitive in our division

It’s only going to get worse the more zone we play that limits what he supposedly does best along with the losing. That’s exactly what happened last season.

It’s time imo
Peterson doesn't want to be here! He is under contract next year, and then he walks...so unless your plan is to take a very vocal malcontent and franchise tag him...Peterson is not going to be a part of our next playoff run.

Peterson hurt his value with the PED crap, but still could land us a 1st round pick. Offseason going into his contract year is probably a 2nd rounder, and next years deadline its probably a 3rd.

IMO we need to get what we can for him now. He is not Fitz who wants to be a Cardinal for life. He has asked for trades several times, and as good as he might be as an individual player, he does not make our defense elite. If you get offered a 1st rounder for him you should take it.

IMO, the Cards were overmatched, but not embarrassed.

A ton to build on.

With absolutely NO running game, a weak OL, and lacking a #1 receiver, I didn’t think Murray played that poorly. Not many QB’s go into that stadium and perform any better. Most perform far worse. And we have far less talent around Murray than what most other QB’s have. SF definitely looks beastly, but we’ll still have some good moments on Thursday. Unfortunately, we don’t have the horses to be competitive the entire game.

We played a road match in one of the most energetic stadiums in the NFL vs a team that will likely be vying for the NFC Championship. Chill. Out. Don't go darkside over a loss against a super bowl contender. **** happens.
We didn't score a TD and our prized head coach shifted the team's momentum on one of the worst calls ever made.

IMO, the Cards were overmatched, but not embarrassed.

A ton to build on.

How is losing by 22 and not scoring a TD not "embarrassed?"

Taysom Hill had a career day against us.

Injuries happen.Tough to win against good teams when you're one dimensional with no healthy RBs.

We played 30-minutes of winning football.

Then we failed to convert Kingsbury's risky 4th down decision and the air went out of the balloon with a giant "whoosh."

Lessons learned -

-Bleep happens.

- This team should learn a lesson from the Energizer Bunny and not have a melt-down each time it makes a mistake, but instead, continue to keep its head down and grind away. (It's called "learning how to win").

- Instead of staying on an upward trajectory, the Cards are on a 2-step forward/one-step back roller coaster ride. The second half yesterday reflected a regression back into roller coaster country. Be prepared to be continually surprised...& then disappointed. (Hopefully each disappointment will be a "teaching moment").
