After finishing 7th in the Western Confernece, the San Antonio Spurs will be picking 18th in the 2018 NBA Draft: their highest pick since they selected Tim Duncan first overall in 1997. The Spurs finished the regular season with a 47-35 record. They tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but because the Spurs won the tie-breaker the Wolves will pick after them. The highest the Spurs have picked since Duncan was 20th when they selected James Anderson in 2010. Kawhi Leonard was drafted 15th overall in 2011, but he was selected by the Indiana Pacers before being traded to the Spurs.
