Umm.. Really?

Some of the stuff is laughable (Vallejo will remind of Gross, Long remind of Welker), some just ridiculous as usual (BSP), Alan Branch will have the light suddenly go on, really?

Maybe you and I consider the term "will remind of" differently, but I think those are ridiculous things to say of practice squad players.

I do agree with Campbell, Dansby, and Patrick however (well, I think Patrick will win the job and play well, but I don't see him all of a sudden becoming a highly productive blocker).

Also fwiw Beisel is not under contract and may not even be playing in Zona next year.

I've never seen "Saint" Pierre play so I have no basis for judging Mitch man love for him. I think Mitch is a pretty good evaluater of talent, but I don't believe he would be a 3rd stringer if he were that talented.

He does know when to call a trick play though, so maybe he will be an excellent coach.

The funny thing is, no one has seen this guy play outside of some garbage snaps against some guys who, at best, spent the 2008 season on their respective practice squads. The guy hasn't played in a regular season NFL game since 2004.

Whether you think it is laughable or not, we shall see in the near future. Mitch is posting from his point of view and expertise and you can disagree with it, but you don't have to be condescending. FYI Long is a ps player, Vallejo is not. They both had excellent camps last year and played great in the pre-season games. Branch may have the light go on this year--you never know--and if he doesn't it will probably be his last.
