Having Phil Dawson on this roster, for this team is the epitome of what the Cardinals are this season.
Dawson had no business being on the roster at the beginning of the year, since last year he was awful.
This team and organization is filled with people do not have much substance past their name.
And if not that, then they are fair weather players/coaches/executives, or the unfortunate players who seem like stand up, good people, but do not have the skill needed to be in the NFL.
In the end, much like Phil Dawson, much of this team's players, coaches, and executives need to be shown the door.
While I very much enjoyed Bruce Arians' time in the desert, but his last three years were leading into this. This team was not trending upwards, quite the opposite.
There was little left when Arians departed, and the continuation of this "we are smarter than you" vibe from our front office continued. Bidwill with his claim to be able to "sniff out a person who is B.S.'ing him" yet continually gives the OK to extend players and executives that screw him over. Keim with his small school drafting, and boom/bust value drafting.
No wonder we have ended up with a team that under performs, lacks any direction or leadership, and is lead onto the field by a man that I feel should be trying to sell people on a 2002 Honda with 250,000 miles/
For all the reason to keep Phil Dawson on this roster, the fact of the matter showed up yesterday. He should not be on the team, he should not be kicking that kick, and we should all not be surprised that he missed it, and was just another reason why this team 2-whatever, and this organization has not even hit rock bottom yet.
