The truth about the Eagles

I'm certainly not going to bang on the Eagles or their fans too much. Truth is, the Eagles helped out the Cards a lot this post season. We needed them. Up until the end of the Giants game last week, I was a HUGE Eagle fan since the last week of the season when they destroyed the Cowboys. That was fun to watch.

We needed Philly to beat the Vikings. They did.

We needed them to knock out the Giants. They did.

For my part, it's been a great postseason. Watching two games go our way in the early game that Sunday was unbelivable. The RAIDERS won for us. Then I was treated to an absolute massacre of the Cowboys. Then a nice Vikings win. Then a HUGE win over the Giants after the Eagles were pretty much dead and buried in the NYC and national media. But I made sure not to rub it in to any of the smack-spewing Giants fans I know...because only one team wins in the end and the loudest guy in the room eats the most crow and takes the loss the worst.

Down to two. Enjoy it. I still remember throwing open my door that night in 2004 and screaming for the Eagles finally getting back to the big game.
