While I agree that this is usually the appropriate response--mocking the person for bemoaning lack of reality--a show can go way too far on the stupidity scale, making it silly even for a zombie show. I'm not talking about TWD hear, just in general.

Oh yes, I've seen it; groaned it.

agreed. Rick's been out in the wild too long. There's got to be a better way to talk to Deanna then to say the doctor either moves out or DIES. If you're going to try and rebuild society, you can't do it in black or white terms... gotta be shades of grey.

Freaking seriously.

That's just waaaaaay too black and white.

Gotta disagree. They aren't trying to rebuild society, they are trying to survive in a limited, walled off area with limited space and limited resources. Sociopaths like the doctor have no place in an area like that. Now if there was a jail, that's a different story. Lock him up and force him to only interact with Eugene and Gabriel. He'd never lay another finger on her.

There is a jail...any effing house you want and bar the doors and windows. If dude crosses any other line, he's out with the zombies to eat his entrails. Nice to know you Pete...glad to see you fed some of those congresswalkers (cause you know some of them were in the Senate and such).

I would interact with Eugene all day...Gabriel I might kill, and I'm a good Catholic, but that guy needs ta go...stat.

The dude who plays Eugene is HILARIOUS on Talking Dead...which if you aren't watching you aren't living. Chris Hardwick is the next tonight show host when Fallon steps down. Best interviewer....ever.

ASFN bet of 1 trillion dollars that it's Glenn. I'm hedging my bet on how huge of a presence Glenn has been the last few episodes. They are going out of their way to show what a huge heart he has and how good of a person he is. Prop him up, the kick the stool out from under him.

But any death of Glenn that is not lock step with how he is killed in the comics would be a huge disappointment.*

*-I didn't put this in a spoiler box because Kirkman has changed the story around so much to keep comic readers guessing so there's no guarantee that he will be killed at all.

Deanna said as much that they're trying to build a society. Rick's problem is that they're unrealistic about it. There's no defense system other than the aluminum walls which aren't impenetrable. The gates aren't guarded and no one is armed inside the walls. Their supply and potential resident runs are haphazard as well. I don't think Rick is against some place where they can find some normalcy, he just wants everyone to understand that you still need to be prudent. I think Michonne's problem is that the way Rick is going about it, he's looking a lot like the Govnernor.

Oh, the W. Are they going to replace the Saviors with The Wolves? And are we finally going to meet Negan?

Yeah seriously. I've been reading through the comic myself. That's a pretty massive spoiler.

But there's been a lot that happened in the comics that hasn't happened on the show. Just a few examples:

Rick still has both hands
Judith is alive
Darryl is a character(as well as Merle and T-Dogg)
Dale was killed off way too early
Tyreese didn't lose his head to the Governor
Bob suffered a fate that Dale actually suffered in the comics
Hershel suffered a fate that Tyreese actually suffered in the comics
Sophia is dead
Carol is alive

I can go on and on how the show skewed from the comics so the Glenn thing more than likely isn't going to happen.

I know several of the actors have publicly stated that the finale is going to "make people pissed and sad so viewers need to have the tissues ready". I'm sure with the tissues comment they were referring to Donald so he'd have some warning (you're welcome D-Dogg).

The only thing that makes me think Glenn might be saved is that we haven't seen Negan yet....unless they go way off script like the examples you gave. Dunno.

Anyway, who the hell is carving "W's" into zombie heads? I have no clue who that could be.

Yeah, Josh McDermitt is a riot. I love how he can just turn "Eugene" on and off when he wants to.

Special bonus: He's originally from Phoenix.

A friend of mine seems to think that instead of the Saviors we're going to have a group called The Wolves led by Negan.

My prediction for Sunday, not based upon the comics and totally just my opinion, is that Pete's as dead as disco, and the main character to die will be the one that killed him...Carol!

And she'll die by the hands of Rick!

The episode will end with the reveal shot of Negan (whose group is being tracked by Daryl and Aaron) holding his bloody bat over the corpse of Morgan.

Well, last question was answered pretty quick! But, Oh come on... REALLY just walking away from the Priest there? That was terrible.

And that Glen moment (don't worry, not a spoiler) and follow up was a HUGE WTF?!

Do not understand AT ALL where you are coming from....that was the greatest finale to the greatest season this show has had yet.

So glad Lennie James is back. Easily one of my favorite actors. I see him and I see Jericho.

I meant that it's a huge comic spoiler, for those that haven't made it that far yet.

I thought it was pretty good aside from some lazy writing. ("Close that gate for me," Glenn becoming a superhero, Morgan showing up to save Daryl / Aaron and AND showing up right as Rick executes the dude.)

However, I was thinking the whole time that he was actually bitten. Maybe not, I guess?

It's pretty evident that the Wolves aren't the Saviors but the Scavengers. Looks like they're still not ready to reveal Nagen.
