Updated hot seat and vacancies:

Atlanta - I hope Raheem Morris continues to earn this one.
Chicago - 50/50 Nagy gets replaced
Cincinnati - What has Zac Taylor shown so far to keep that job?
Detroit - Patricia is gone
Houston - Crennel has them 4-3 and rumor might be to keep him one more year due to COVID offseason
Jacksonville - Hiring Marrone was a mistake from day 1
LA Chargers - I like Lynn but not sure how you can keep him. That team has the talent but can't win with him.
NY Jets - BWAAHAHAHAAHA! How on earth did this guy get another HC job? What a fraud.

Dallas - McCarthy would be gone if he hadn't just signed a massive contract.
Denver - Fangio will be given a 3rd year but not looking good there.
Minnesota - Tons of talent on this roster and Zimmer has been on the hot seat for awhile. Just signed a 3 year extension through 2023 (he stays)
Philly - horrible year but Pederson stays

Minnesota doesn’t have a ton of talent. Their team, especially their defense, is young as hell.

He has done nothing to earn the job.

Chicago - 50/50 Nagy gets replaced

Right out of the Eric Reid coaching tree. GM needs replacement

Cincinnati - What has Zac Taylor shown so far to keep that job?

It's the roster.

Detroit - Patricia is gone

Yup. Bad roster victim.

Houston - Crennel has them 4-3 and rumor might be to keep him one more year due to COVID offseason

Meh. They need to hire a GM and let that GM pick the HC.

Jacksonville - Hiring Marrone was a mistake from day 1.

Horrible coach. There is some talent on that roster. Pass on Fields, Trade down a few spots and grab Trask.

LA Chargers - I like Lynn but not sure how you can keep him. That team has the talent but can't win with him.

He loses games and wastes that talented roster. Jim Harbaugh is a candidate.

NY Jets - BWAAHAHAHAAHA! How on earth did this guy get another HC job? What a fraud.

Another bad roster, but he selected the GM and how does that GM fire the guy who hired him?

Dallas - McCarthy would be gone if he hadn't just signed a massive contract.

Horrible hire. Cut bait and run.

Denver - Fangio will be given a 3rd year but not looking good there.

Another Defensive oriented HC who needs a brilliant OC.

Minnesota - Tons of talent on this roster and Zimmer has been on the hot seat for awhile. Just signed a 3 year extension through 2023 (he stays)

Ziggy Wolf has enough $$$ to send him packing.

Philly - horrible year but Pederson stays[/QUOTE]

The brilliant offense left with Frank Reich and John De Fillipo. Another Andy Reid Pupil.

? Took over a winless team and is 3-2. I would say that is earning it so far...needs to continue but he should be in the mix.

Patricia seems like the type that can scheme, but can't relate or communicate with the players. He'll land on his feet as a DC again, but he shouldn't be a HC.

Considering the stupid contracts Jerry doles out, buying out Mike pales in comparison. I would not rule out Harbaugh to Chargers. Maybe a bidding war assuming Harbaugh is available.

Taylor & Patricia being awful barely has anything to do with the roster.

Jeff DickersonESPN Staff Writer:

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy challenged the team to "wake up" and "have some personal pride" in the wake of Sunday's disastrous 41-25 prime-time loss to the Green Bay Packers.

"I know this: We better wake our tails up," Nagy said on a Monday Zoom call. "Every freaking coach on the staff, every player, better wake up and start understanding where we're at. Have some personal pride. Have a freaking sense of urgency. Know where we're at. Have some pride into who we're playing for and why we do this and then go find a way to win as a team. That's my challenge to every single person in that building this week is that.

"Yesterday was flat-out embarrassing, and our guys know it. I'm not telling you something they don't know. They know it. But we're going to step up and all coaches, all players, and we've got five games left. For us, it's our own personal challenge as to where we're at and how we're going to do this thing. But that performance yesterday is ridiculous and can't happen, and obviously that starts with me."

Is he trying to get fired before going 0-16?

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

New York Jets coach Adam Gase was hired nearly two years ago in large part to groom quarterback Sam Darnold. On Thursday, Gase admitted for the first time that he's failing.

"I came here to help him, help him develop his career, and we haven't been able to do that," said Gase, who is 7-20 and has presided over the NFL's worst offense for the better part of two seasons.

I don't think Sam is as bad as his numbers, but man it hasn't been good for that young man. I never thought he was worth 3 no1's as others did, but never dreamed he would end up this bad. Hope a changes of scenery does him some good like Tannehill.
